King's Cottage Uralla

Relax in a slice of Uralla's history. King's Cottage, circa 1886 has been lovingly restored and renovated, offering guests the charm of yesteryear, coupled with modern day conveniences. Each bedroom features a period gas flame fireplace, as well as the bathroom where you can lay back in the bath gazing in to the fire as you relax. The cottage also features gas central heating throughout and an expansive sunroom/dining and lounge area has its own dedicated wood burner, for those cosy evenings.

Nestled in a secluded location approximately 900m from the nearest dwelling, access is via a dirt track and a couple of gates. It is located at the base of the farm's surrounding hills it has stunning scenery, natural bushland and an abundance of Australian flora & fauna. The cabin itself is perfect for any couple looking to have a romantic getaway. Thereis a no children policy.

Barking Dog Gallery is opposite The Top Pub and New England Brewery on the main road in Uralla. The self catering bedsit is attached to the back of the house down the driveway behind Barking Dog Galley and the pottery workshop. The bedsit features skylights, double glazing, antique and modern furniture, a queen size bed and a well equiped kitchen. Tea, coffee and milk is supplied. Just walk across the road for a great meal at The Top Pub. Check in after 3pm. Check out 10am.

The beautiful Gwydir River is a block away where you can swim, kayak and watch the world go by. Carthage Cottage is a great spot to stay as it is close to the middle of Tamworth business district and it is an easy walk to the centre of town if you would like to explore. The Cottage, one of Tamworth’s original railway cottages, is set up to meet all your needs.. The cottage does now have wifi and you are welcome to use it. We are happy to help you out if you need anything else extra. It is in a quiet friendly neighbourhood and you can park off the street here.
