Vacation rentals in Barranquitas

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Hacienda Florentina in the beautiful surroundings of Barranquitas. Pornosky and Barbara were extremely helpful from the day we booked until the day we left (can see why they are Super Hosts). They provided great recommendations for beaches, food, etc. Every time we messaged, we received a response within minutes. The home consists of two separate apartments, exactly as the photos show. Great property for a larger family or separate families/friends because of the private nature of each unit. Private pool, water temperature was perfect; warm enough to in the day and evening. Amazing views. Several good restaurants < 30 min from the house. We took advantage of the central location to explore the north & south coast beaches, thermal pools (close to the house), El Yunque, and even San Juan. Tip: Driving at night is difficult on the dark, curvy mountain roads. Did it but it probably wasn’t worth it. Bottom line: would def stay again!

The magic of the mountains in a fun little house.

We had our parents stay at airbnb’s near our wedding venue. They were all beautiful, clean and lovely. The only inconvenient was the road to get there. If you’re not used to driving in the mountains from Puerto Rico it can be a bit shocking. Me and my family agree that ir was worth it. Thank you for having us!

Laura did an incredible job in the creating a minimalist modern space with an incredible view. The pool area was gorgeous (albeit a bit cold in February!). We still managed to spend some time in there. The kitchen is beautiful and the area is serene. It’s ‘out there’ so make sure to grocery shop before you arrive. A quick note: the frogs outside get pretty loud at night so bring your ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The internet was off and on again so so be aware if that is mission-critical for you during your stay. At minimum make sure your phone has a hot spot to connect to.

Wow what a view! I highly recommend staying in the mountains in PR. Peace and tranquility are yours 100% of the time. Driving skills are a must in this area. Magdalena was an amazing host and we cannot wait to come back!

I love it ! just what we need, a Peaceful place. Near the Cañon San Cristobal. You can go walking if you want. You have a bakery just walking distance. Lots of restaurants just in a few minutes in car. We enjoy every moment. Love that is a pet friendly for our puppy. Adlin was very responsive, and everything was spotless.

From check in to check out the experience at this villa was beyond amazing. From the stunning views to the private cozy feel inside to the private heated pool this villa will not disappoint! Came for my husband’s birthday and it was just what we needed. We were greeted with a charcuterie board and wine upon arrival.. games were a plus beautiful landscaping and ambience! Host was very responsive, and helpful. A total win and worth every penny!
