Monthly Rentals in Barstow

We were looking for a comfortable overnight stop on a long drive and we could not have landed better than Jane's place. Firstly: it is huge! Loads of space and loads of character to go with it. It's the joy of AirBnB to see a slice of life, and this creative, peaceful and beautiful spot had everything we needed.

The place was very comfortable, clean, quiet, and I had everything I needed. The wifi worked well, the bed was comfortable, there were no odors. Barstow in general is not a beautiful place, but this location was on the edge of the desert and the sunsets seen from the house were spectacular. The house had been cooled when I arrived. The instructions were easy to follow. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet- I heard nothing. It is hard to find a place in Barstow where you can't hear the trains, and they were audible when I was outside but I couldn't hear them when in the house. The dirt road is not easy to differentiate from other the dirt roads but the key is to take a right just past the wash that runs under Main street (and Armory road) and drive along the east side of the canal a little ways until you see the two nearly identical cottages ahead. This is a rare finding in Barstow and absolutely delightful!
