At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

Mitten in der Natur, umgeben von Fichten und Buchen könnt ihr die Stille auf einer großzügigen Terrasse oder auf dem Balkon geniessen. Die Räume strahlen durch die besonderen Farben und der ausgesuchten Einrichtung eine warme und sonnige Atmosphäre aus. Direkt vom Haus kann man wunderbar wandern oder radeln.

Our aim is to welcome guests with a dog as well as the ones without into a friendly, cosy atmosphere. The appartment is at the edge of Oberelsbach - ideally for hikes. Basic shopping is possible and there is a nice café, a gas station and a pharmacy. Hiking and Cycling trails start directly from the house. But also there are bus lines which opperate in different directions as well as right into the heart of the hiking area.

Rhöner half-timbered house with special charm

The old half-timbered house is located in the middle of a small village in the Bavarian Rhön Biosphere Reserve. It will be occupied by you alone during your stay. It can accommodate 4 adults if 2 bedrooms are sufficient. However, there is still a single mattress in the living room. 1-2 dogs are allowed. Bicycles or motorcycles can be stored in the barn.
