“We really enjoyed staying at Annalee’s place! It was very cozy, cute and private. Her pups were a nice treat as well. The property was beautiful and had a great view of the St. Lawrence. Would definitely like to stay here again.”
Private, rustic cottage amid towering pines overlooking Whitefish Lake. We are part of the Rideau Canal system, a designated world heritage centre. Easy access to water and walking trails on 260 acres of undeveloped woodlands. Best suited to nature lovers, privacy seekers, and fishermen, or just a romantic weekend getaway.
“Nick and Jeanie are fabulous hosts. We arrived to Corona on ice and a container of maple syrup from trees from their property. They were attentive hosts and made sure to ask if their was anything we needed regularly. The space itself was very nice, had a brand new mattress and box spring and brand new BBQ. There is a little private deck by the water that you can use. They also let us use their canoe and paddles and provided life jackets. We enjoyed watching hummingbirds while on the deck and also heard many birds at night while we sat and enjoyed our campfire. There was one night we heard whippoorwills, a barred owl and loons all at the same time! Very relaxing, private and peaceful place.”
Welcome to Dog Lake. An amazing spot interconnected to the Rideau system. Dog Lake is known for its sport fishing, wildlife, and not to mention many other summer activities such as; canoeing kayaking, local beach, hiking, and boating. The house is conveniently located only 20 minutes north of Kingston, and 25 minutes south east to the 1000 Island which makes it convenient for amenities.
“Wonderful, quiet spot with amazing swimming and kayaking. It was lovely to get out of the city and relax with the family and our dog, Leo, too! The hot tub and propane fireplace were handy for the one cooler night and the kitchen was kitted out well. We would definitely rent this place again. The hosts were incredibly responsive and flexible when we had to change dates.”
