Vacation rentals in Bay of Shoals

Great spot on Kangaroo Island away from anything or anyone else. 5 minute drive to a fantastic beach and about 1 hour to Remarkable Rocks. Easy to find - they must of put up a sail sign recently as it wasn't in the pictures but made it super easy to identify the driveway. This place has everything you need minus food. Hit the grocery store on your way in and enjoy disconnecting from society! also, lots of kangaroos in the morning and evening.

What a a wonderful place! Located less than a 5minute walk to the quiet emu bay beach and jetty, and only a 15minute drive from the main town, it was a lovely getaway in a clean and well equipped air bnb. Great views from the deck of the sunrise over the bay, and we saw pelicans and kangaroos every day. The hosts gave us heaps of recommendations prior to check in and were quick to communicate with. The house has a large securely fenced yard for the dogs to run around on. It was a beautiful week spent at Emu Bay!

Second time at Driftaway, such a great holiday home. Very comfortable, well equipped . Very relaxing on the deck, loved the hammock. Owners were quick to respond to a couple of questions. We loved our stay, thank you to Jess and Ryan.

We had a fabulous stay at the property. The location is excellent and we were able to walk to the beach and local shops and cafes. The house is spacious for a large family and well equipped.

Lovely area, lots for the kids to do and safe. Close to the beach and a lovely walk along the beach to the Life Saving Club. House was nice but provisions in the kitchen very basic. We had a lovely weekend.

Such a lovely space, and thoughtful host. We were greeted with a fresh loaf of bread, wine and small condiments. Rooms were immaculate with fresh linen etc. Highly recommend this place

This accomodation was amazing and definitely worth the money. The place had amazing views and being only a 5 minute drive from the beach. Definitely worth it for a weekend couples getaway! Would stay here again!

Had a great stay at Irene and John's place. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Most importantly to me is was a great place for my border collie. Irene and John are clearly dog lovers and looked after her when I was out. A really great stay.
