My house has been described as light and cosy. It is filled with books, art and interesting things - a home from home, not the usual holiday let. Nestled within the South Downs National Park this medieval village has independent and quirky shops, with lots of choices of where to eat & drink. Fabulous walks incl. the Downs, riverside, and nearby the sea, forest & vineyard. In the winter there is a log burner, in the summer a sunny walled garden. A permit is available for parking close by.

Beachy Barn

With wonderful views over the South Downs, this beautiful flint and oak cottage sleeps 6 people in one double room, one single room and one triple room. There are two bathrooms, a downstairs utility room with WC and large open plan kitchen with an extendable dining table. From the kitchen there are three steps down to a comfortable seating area with French doors leading onto a terrace and garden. Dogs are welcome and will receive their own welcome basket, but there is a £45 surcharge per pet.

Beautiful barn, perfect for walkers, also great as a comfortable and spacious base for exploring the local countryside. Local cultural attractions include Glyndebourne, Drusilla's Park, South Downs Way. This spacious artist's home is located right on the South Downs Way, and it is only about an hour and a half walk to the coast at Exceat. There is a tree house for kids, a couple of swing seats for chilling out on, and the Cuckmere runs through the bottom of the garden.

Coes Farm offers 50 acres of absolute tranquillity in amongst nature, with a bit of luxury thrown in too! We have formal gardens and ornamental ponds, a large lake, plenty of woodland, open fields, an indoor saltwater swimming pool with hot tub, a tennis court and a games room which is resident in our Micro-Winery! We planted our 5 acre vineyard in Spring 2021 and extended the existing Orchard with cider varieties in 2023.
