“What an incredible place. The room was incredibly stylish, clean, warm and inviting. The room was so much better than I expected it to be fitted with a kitchenette that had stove, oven, fridge and other appliances. Everything had it’s own place and was very well put together you felt at home. The bathroom was incredible and the shower was huge. The only that was confusing was the shower (me being from Australia) couldn’t figure how to get the hot water on and then it was too hot I couldn’t turn the cold on. Downstairs had an incredibly funky set up the bar was really nice and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I would recommend everyone and anyone to stay here and if I am to come back to Manchester I would definitely come back and stay here.”
Surrounded by canals, quirky houseboats & snoozing cormorants, the flat's in Ancoats, home to Manchester's only Michelin starred restaurant and named one of the world's 50 coolest neighbourhoods by Time Out, it's at number 27 (right after Katendrecht in Rotterdam) It's also close to the myriad of independent shops, bars and restaurants in both Ancoats and the Northern Quarter/City Centre and it's listed as one of the top ten airbnb rentals in Manchester by global travel website 'Culture Trip'
“The flat is spacious, well decorated and cozy. Good for a couple days stay in Manchester. A couple items: - The location is great but it can be a little deserted at night, particularly if walking back and forth from the city centre where you have to cross the ring road. - I also found it hard to get the heating to a comfortable level in the winter. Bring warm socks! Overall I would recommend.”
Self-contained and self-catering en-suite apartment with separate entrance (from main house), located in Didsbury, Manchester's suburb.
“Where do I start, this was one of the best Airbnb’s that I’ve stayed at. It is perfect for 1/2 people. I visited Manchester for the Manchester United/City Derby and the location was great especially since the Derby was held in Old Trafford. There is a reason why Eric is a superhost. The Airbnb is located in a nice and seemingly very safe neighborhood. There are two train stops into Manchester. Both are about a 12-15 minute walk away. One of the train stops actually takes you to and from the airport for not a bad price. From the airport, you have to select the appropriate ticket. There is a laundromat and a really good and delicious restaurant for breakfast/ brunch called “Medo Cafe” walking distance. You’ll pass it if you walk from the train stop to the Airbnb from the Airport. The prices for the restaurant are really cheap. Eric is really responsive and actually let Stubhub mail the tickets to the match to his place for free. He was really nice and also let me stay an additional night for a really good price. There is also a ton of dvd movies to choose from when looking for entertainment at night after a long day.”
