Make memories for a lifetime at this unique and family-friendly place! On beautiful Sommarøya we (family Johnsgård) rent out this great cabin. You will have the magnificent nature right at the front door. It takes you 1 hour to drive from Tromsø airport, about 55 km. We have made a complete manual with user guide for how to use the cottage, this can be found on the dining table upon arrival. In the summer you can experience the sun around the clock (midnight sun), and in autumn/winter you can see the "northern lights" if you are lucky.

Havlandet

Havlandet (Sea Land) is rightly named. A spacious house in peaceful surroundings close to the sea. While you enjoy the coffee, you can see the waves breaking in the shore, follow the animal and bird life up close or take in the view of mighty mountains. You have a front row seat to the boat traffic that passes in and out of Senjahopen. Good conditions for northern lights photography. Senjahopen is a good starting point for all the nature experiences Senja can offer. From Havlandet there is a shop and café within walking distance.

The house is located in Senjahopen, only 1 km from the store. – 20 min to the hiking trails to Segla and Hesten – 7 minutes to a beautiful beach in Ersfjord – Great hiking trails in Mefjordvær – 30 min to the ferry to Tromsø (Botnhamn) – 1 hour to ferry to Andenes (Gryllefjord) Three bedrooms on the 2nd floor (2 x 150 cm and 1 x 120 cm bed) Bathroom on the 1st floor. Sengeplass til gjest nr 9 og 10 vil være i kjellerleiligheten om denne ikke er utleid, ellers på ekstrasenger eller madrasser. Unique panorama – Senja

It can hardly be described - it must be experienced. You live on the outside of the fairytale island of Senja. You can't get any closer to nature - with a glass facade of close to 30 sq.m. you have the feeling of sitting outside while you're inside. Whether it's midnight sun or northern light-it 'll never be boring to look at the sea, mountains and wildlife along Bergsfjord. The cabin was completed in autumn 2018 and has a high standard.

The lodge is placed right underneath the worlds Northern Lights oval, making it a perfect location to watch the green skies dancing outside – all from the comfort inside of our panoramic windows. The famous Segla peak is right in our backyard, and the hiking trail starts right outside our doorstep.
