Vacation rentals with lake access in Bergen

The place was clean and very tastefully decorated. We spent a week there and didn't miss anything. Cooking utensils are plentiful and a basic set of spices are also available, so you don't have to buy everything new. The surroundings are very nice and some good hiking trails can be reached with a short drive. Shopping is only about ten minutes by car. For vacationers looking for peace and quiet, the accommodation is perfect, especially in winter. We had a very nice vacation there.

This house is a true marvel. And I can know as me and my family lived there for half a year. When I booked the house I was afraid it was too good to be true: secluded in a forest, but close to the city center; at the foot of a mountain, and with two (!) lakes for swimming or fishing. But it all appeared to be true. It was even better: at the end of the access road, but out of sight, is a supermarket and a bus stop. The bus takes you to the city center in short ride. Moreover, Sharon – the host and owner – is a very nice and sweet person. I truly recommend this place. And to acknowledge this endorsement: we’ll come back this spring.

We had a wonderful trip and stay. The house is an absolute dream and just as beautiful as in the pictures. We felt very comfortable, like at home. The location is perfect, quiet and beautiful. Our host Linda is very attentive and friendly, we will be back very soon. That was my best Norway experience so far :)

Beate and Robert's house is just fantastic in every way. It's a beautiful home that has put a lot of love and work into whatever you feel. We felt comfortable from the first moment, everything was clean and lovingly furnished down to the last detail and kept to the style. But still it had the comforts of today and was modern. The kids were absolutely happy about the playroom with the diverse clean toys and feeding the animals was the daily highlight. There is a lot to do in the area and I recommend the hike with the red ribbons that starts behind the house of Beate and Robert. The tour is magical. Again, thank you to Robert and Beate for putting in so much effort. You are great hosts and we will be happy to come back!

Trude was the best host you could ask for. Had some lovely conversations and felt part of the local community because of her. The place is gorgeous and will leave you feeling recharged and relaxed. We were very sad to leave, and I am certain one day in the future we will be back. Thanks again Trude!

We had a great time in Ann-Kristin and Laila's cabin. They had made it incredibly cozy by decorating for Christmas with lights and Christmas trees. The cabin was also clean and prepared for our visit. The location is amazing and it was easy to find. The hosts were very easy to deal with and responded quickly. I can highly recommend this place.

We absolutely loved this house and it made our trip so much more enjoyable! Our kids loved getting in the hot tub after exploring for the day. There is a waterfall a little ways behind the home that was fun to explore. The beds were insanely comfortable and overall everything felt spacious and cozy! I will say that I was a bit surprised at the walk to the house. I’m not sure why I was expecting a paved walkway that would be easy to carry your luggage on but it is definitely not that. Ha! It is very steep at the end and when carrying your luggage it feels like it is never ending. I would absolutely recommend you use the ATV service if you have anything more than carryon luggage. Amazing find! This place is absolutely magical— even better than the pictures! Being right on a fjord was a unique experience. The location is convenient, just a short ride to the heart of Bergen. Although our stay was brief, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend this cozy accommodation to anyone seeking a memorable getaway!
