The »haus in spay« on the Moselle | with sauna

The "haus in spay" is a historic half-timbered house, built around 1545 in the Moselle village of Zell-Merl. It is located near the river at the foot of a sun-drenched southern slope on the Moselle, the well-known wine region with unique Riesling cultivation and Mediterranean culture. The monument ensemble with main house, the more recent vacation home and steep garden was extensively restored in 8.5 years of construction and mainly in own work according to ecological and traditional criteria.

The Kirchberg vacation region "in the middle of the Hunsrück" - surrounded by the Moselle, Rhine, Nahe and Saar river valleys, is one of the most beautiful and interesting natural landscapes in Rhineland-Palatinate. The vacation home is centrally located but quiet in the middle of the village. Restaurants and bike rentals are available. Kirchberg is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours, climbing, exploring the suspension rope bridge or visiting natural and adventure pools.

Our stylish cottage is situated in the charming wine village Wiltingen. From the spacious living room and the balcony you have a beautiful view on the Altenberg. The large garden overlooks the village and the surrounding vineyards and is great for all sorts of activities. Enjoy a meal from the grill, relax in the hammock between the apple trees and at the end of the day watch the sunset with a cool Riesling wine. The Riesling-grapes grow right behind the garden gate.

Talo koostuu kahdesta erillisestä huoneistosta (89m2+155m2) kolmessa kerroksessa, jotka voi yhdistää. Erityisen sopiva kahdelle perheelle/pariskunnalle. Piha-alueella (500 m2) on kalusteet ja avotuli grillaukseen sekä puro. Talossa on 4 makuuhuonetta ja yksi vuodesohva yhdelle loungessa. Ylhäällä on myös terassi. Talo on täysin remontoitu sisältä ja kaikki kalusteet, kodinkoneet, TV, pyyhkeet, lakanat ovat uusia. Pihalla ilmainen parkkialue 3 autolle. Wifi.

We didn't have the heart to tear down Grandma Hilde's house. So we renovated the house for 1 year and got as much charm as possible. Enjoy your own hideaway with a large sun terrace, the old half-timbered but modern facilities. The house is at the narrowest point of Starkenburg, so that you can enjoy the distant view towards the Mosel river and the beautiful Ahringstal. Relax in your little retreat on the Mosel. From this wonderful place in a quiet side street of the mountain village Starkenburg you can start hiking, go wine tasting, simply relax or work remotely. Let the distant view and nature inspire you. The old half-timbered house has been completely ecologically renovated and is simply cosy including a wood stove.
