“I had the most wonderful stay at Mukesh’s place. Unfortunately Mukesh was away at this time but he was communicating with me every day to check I was happy and had everything I needed. His family are the loveliest of people and looked after me throughout. I felt like a Queen. I had everything I required and more. Mukesh’s Brother Chandra is a fantastic cook and I had many delicious meals, for a small add on price. They even had beer. I can’t recommend this place highly enough; such wonderful hospitality. Plenty of hot water, the whole place was spotlessly clean and my bedding was changed daily. It is also very close to the Keoladeo National Park. This is the perfect spot if you’re a birder. Mukesh’s Dad, Rattan, knows everything there is to know about birds; absolutely fascinating. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.”
Welcome to Jungle Lodge Home Stay. We are based in Bharatpur and very close to the Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary. You’ll love my place because of the tranquility, the open garden, the fantastic food and the feeling of staying with an authentic Indian family. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, big groups, families and furry friends (pets). we have 6 rooms and each room has a comfy double bed with attached bathroom. We have a restaurant on site, so you don't have to leave the property
“Ashok's place is rustic, and about what you would expect in the "middle of nowhere India". The bed was comfy enough. The shower pressure varied between a trickle and solid, depending on where you set the mixer faucet. The lighting in the room was adequate, but don't expect modern comforts. Ashok and his wife are great hosts and they cook and provide friendly conversation. I was grateful to be alone, so I could fold the double blanket over me to be warm enough. 1 blanket layer was certainly not enough for the 5-6C temps, but 2 was fine. The Jungle Lodge has a nice yard with some fruit trees.”
Royal Farm House is located in country side, 3.5 km away from the Unesco World Heritage Keoladeo National Park entrance gate. Away from highway, five big rooms with large comfortable beds & modern facilities are available; organic food is served.
“WOW! This is an absolute treasure of a place. A sanctuary from the craziness that is India. With pristine clean rooms, a welcoming host, a lovely little farm with delicious organic home cooked food this is a very much a treat. The tour around the farm produce and an introduction to the cows was fantastic. With the close proximity to the Bird Sanctuary there were many peacocks in the morning and some other beautiful birds! We would thoroughly recommend a stay here and will be back if we are in the area again! Thanks Rinkesh, we loved our night at the Royal Farm!”
