Tucked away in the hills, Relaimi Homestay was a peaceful retreat for my wife and me. From the moment we arrived, Sujata and Nischal welcomed us with warmth and generosity, making us feel instantly at home. The homestay itself was cozy and charming, with large windows opening to misty mountains. A highlight of our stay was Sujata’s incredible home-cooked meals. Her chicken momos, served with tangy chutney, were unforgettable. The Nepali thali—dal, bhaat, vegetables, and achaar—was wholesome and comforting. If you love mountain air, meaningful conversations, and soulful home-cooked meals, Relaimi Homestay is the perfect escape, it offers more than just a stay—it’s an experience that stays with you. Infact we booked the stay only for 3 days and then extended to another 2 days and we can’t wait to return here again.

I have visited Gangtok several times, and previously, I preferred hotels near MG Marg. This trip was different; I planned a road trip to Sikkim with my wife and daughter, so I needed a place in Gangtok with parking. This property met all my requirements, so I booked it. Upon check-in, my expectations for Airbnbs and homestays were exceeded. The cleanliness was exceptional, every item was perfectly placed, and all amenities were provided. The mountain view from my room was breathtaking. We were welcomed with tea and delicious homemade cookies. We had pre-ordered lunch, and our host prepared a wonderful chicken dish with homemade chutney, which surpassed my expectations. Our host was incredibly helpful. Whenever I return to Gangtok, I will certainly book this property again.

Heard of Ramen and of his place for quite some time and every bit of our experience matched what we had heard. His bookstore and the cafe are an added bonus. Though personally we did not have the time to check the items at cafe, we found it always busy. The bookstore was eclectic and is worthy of your attention. Primarily strong at literature from North East India, but we also stumbled upon a few additional gems. A number of important govt offices are right opposite the place so the location is very safe and central. M. G. Marg is 10-12 minute's walk. We thoroughly enjoyed every part and aspect of our stay at Ramen's place. If we must nitpick, though it was never mentioned anywhere otherwise, a B&B without inclusive breakfast is rather counter-intuitive. But I guess that's more of our own oversight. We unequivocally recommend this place to anyone who recognizes its strengths and hopefully we will put up at Ramen's in the next available opportunity. Many thanks!

Greystone farmhouse is a great stay. Nestled in between the hills and the plains surrounded by lush green paddy fields a treat for eyes. The cottage was beautiful and comfortable. Certainly a place to stay if u are looking for peace and nature.

Superhost! Our stay at this homestay in Gangtok was truly wonderful! The property is beautifully maintained and equipped with all the amenities one could need. Nestled amidst nature, it offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Getting there can be a bit tricky, but it's worth the journey. The host was incredibly polite, welcoming, and eager to help, making us feel right at home. We were lucky to visit during Diwali and got to learn so much about the local culture and traditions, which added a unique touch to our experience. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing experience! Karma our host is one of the most humble and wonderful person we’ve met. Our four-day stay was fantastic, with delicious home-cooked meals prepared by Aunt. The view from our room was mesmerizing, and the location had great connectivity with local taxis and cabs. Karma was incredibly helpful, assisting us with travel arrangements and guiding us throughout our stay.
