Small cottage/ guest house

Cozy little cottage in the countryside. There are horse pastures and the forest around the corner and with a 10-minute walk you are out on Biskops-Arnö. There are docks, a swimming area, exercise trails, a 600-year-old oak tree and much more! Bålsta can be reached by car in 15 minutes and Stockholm in 50. It is recommended that you come by car. The cottage has a kitchen and sleeping loft. In the loft, there is a 120 cm bed and a 90 cm mattress. Toilet and shower are in the same building, the shower is shared with us who live in the cottage (if we are home).

Old, cozy cottage in the countryside, yet close to everything

Next to Hjälstaviken's nature reserve is this cottage, which is a wing building to Husby-Sjutolft's vicarage. Parts of the house are probably from the 1700s. The house is 60 square meters with two rooms, kitchen, hall and bathroom with shower. You live next door to the host family, but have your own "backside" with a balcony down the afternoon and evening sun and views of the agricultural landscape. In the area, there are nice walking paths and trails around Hjälstaviken, at Ekolsund Castle and in the forests around. Grocery store is within 10 km.

In the heart of the village of Brunnsta you will find this peaceful and quiet accommodation. Here you live rural but still close to surrounding cities like Stockholm and Uppsala and Arlanda airport. There are public transport by bus 1 km from the property and long-distance trains and commuter trains 8 km from the property. The accommodation is mainly for 2 people but an extra bed can be set up. At a cost of SEK 200/night, a nearby cottage on the property can also be used as a sleeping place for an additional person.

Small cozy guest house near the lake.

Small cozy guest house on a leafy plot. 400 meters from the cottage is Lake Mälaren. Here you can swim at a jetty or small beach in the summer and ice skate in the winter. Close to a beautiful nature reserve with barbecue areas and nice forest. The cottage has a room and bathroom. It has a small, but fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a bed (140 cm) as well as a folding guest bed (70 cm). In the bathroom, there is a washing machine, shower and toilet. Sheets and towels included.

Central location in charming house from 1850. 84 square meters in three levels with 2 bedrooms. Living room with a large sofa, fireplace, kitchen island with 5 chairs and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and coffeemaker. Bathroom with shower, washing machine and a sauna. A few meters to the lake with for swimming. 15 minutes to Arlanda Airport and 35 minutes to Stockholm City. Sigtuna is the oldest town in Sweden with lots of charming restaurants, cafés and shops.

Charming, newly built house in the countryside in quiet area at Lake Mälaren. Distance: Sigtuna (4 km footpath, 8 km by car). 17 km from Arlanda airport, 40 km to Stockholm city. 3 km to public transport (bus). The cottage is located close to the main building and has its own balcony with lake view. Beautiful surroundings and close to the lake with bathing area about 100 m . On the farm there is a dog and during summertime sheep.

Antique and recycled, these small rooms give a cozy feel. It is close to our dwelling house so in the summertime the courtyard is a paradise shared with the hosts. Private seat on the back side. Bathroom & sauna in the building next door shared with Glamping guests. Access to the Forest Garden and nice seating is available. Small-scale food crafts, art, rural cafes and crafts can also be found here in Fjärdhundraland if you are a car.

With us at Blänkebo Gård, you will stay in the countryside in Sweden's nearest city with proximity to a lot, but it is also excellent to just relax. The cottage is newly renovated but with preserved old charm and there is both underfloor heating and a wood stove for cozy cooking during the cold season.
