Papenwohld is the home of the Papenwohld Artist Residency - a non-profit art project founded and run by the hosts. Everything from music festivals, yoga and horse workshops to concerts and art exhibitions have been celebrated here.

The 22 m² property consists of a living room, a kitchen, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom and can therefore accommodate 2 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi as well as a washing machine. This vacation rental features a private open terrace for relaxed evenings. The property has its own well that provides high-quality drinking water.

Young couples with toddlers, solo travelers, tourists on their way to the north or south, painters seeking seclusion, pianists (grand piano available!), writers and other creatives, bird lovers and lovers of the seas are welcome in our small gallery!

Guest house with paddock view

Our cozy 12 sqm guest house is newly renovated and equipped with two sofa beds (140 × 200), fridge, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Linens and towels are provided. The cabin is thermally insulated, but has NO HEATING and NO KITCHEN. No heaters of any kind or hotplates may be operated. 15 m away is a new bathroom in the annex which is available to you. Garden table and chairs, garden loungers and grill are available.

Charming “chapel” in the north German Bullerbü

Our small "chapel" is located on a former farm between the Schlei and the Hüttener Berge Nature Park. Peacefully nestled between meadows, fields and moors lies our unmistakable "mini village". Four families live with us, with a total of five children, as well as a friendly Hovawart dog, four cats, a rooster and two hens. All two and four-legged friends run free on the premises, there are no fences or gates with us.

Next door is the historic water mill. Shopping as well as restaurants can only be found one place away. Nice apartment in a quiet location

Ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours near Schleswig! Located between Schlei and Hüttener Bergen - each only about 5 km away. The Selker Noor with its own swimming area is only 3.4 km away, and the Viking village of Haitabu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also very close, as are Gottorf Castle, Schleswig Cathedral and the harbor. It is also only 20 km to Eckernförde Bay!
