We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. As a trained hotel manager, I am particularly passionate about bringing people closer to the small and great beauties of life: by spending time for themselves, with family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, and pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Apartment with terrace places

The apartment on the first floor is located on a hill near Rosbach, quietly at the end of the settlement. Walking paths in the picturesque surroundings are 5 minutes away and in the lovingly maintained garden, a terrace space with a view is reserved for guests. The access to the garden starts from the car parking space. We live on the ground floor of the house and we look forward to a meeting or a friendly greeting in the garden. We will be hosts again because we have had beautiful experiences with travel ourselves.

Room with private bathroom and kitchenette in Altenkirchen

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

Apartment by the forest / Westerwald

Our apartment is located right by the forest in the magnificent landscape of the WESTERWALDS. Near Obererbachs is the excellent WESTERWALD STEIG and other charming hiking, cycling and motorbike routes, ideal for day trips. Our village of Obererbach belongs to the district of Altenkirchen. In the village within walking distance, you will find the Obererbach train connection (one stop to the center). By car, you can reach the nearest shopping facilities in about 3.5 km.

Beautiful old building apartment in historic mill

Very nice old building apartment for two to four guests in a historic mill. Perfect for a hiking vacation or relaxation. In a picturesque location, outside the Westerwald town of Hachenburg with its picturesque market square and the open-air museum. Close to Marienstatt Monastery. Located directly on the Westerwaldsteig. Quiet and steeped in history. The first Chancellor of the FRG, Konrad Adenauer, stayed here. A commemorative plaque on the house commemorates his stay.

Nestled in nature, in an idyllic forest edge location with breathtaking lake views, this chalet allows you to escape everyday life. Hike in the forest or by the lake and enjoy a bike ride with our e-bikes. When it's cool, warm up in the sauna or heated pool before settling in with a glass of red wine by the fireplace. In the warm season, enjoy a swim in the pool or in the crystal clear lake (SUP/kayak are also available) before watching the stars in the evening.

Our newly renovated ground floor apartment with private entrance has space for 2 to max. 4 persons. (fitters 2 p.) Bus stop 1 minute away, train station 3 km. Shopping can be reached on foot in about 8 minutes or by bus. Living room, kitchen and shower area have a lower ceiling height (2m/2.10m) The terrace with 4 seats, barbecue and adjoining lawn invites you to relax. Ideal starting point for hiking or just for recreation. Landlord lives in the house.

1 room by the forest perfect for hiking

There is nothing here but plenty of nature ! For hiking or cycling, you have a perfect starting point from our AirBnb ( 20 sqm with private bathroom), but it's also great to just spend a weekend. You need a car here! It is 8 minutes to the next bakery where you can have a nice breakfast, as well as to shopping facilities Edeka/ Penny 8 minutes, nearest Lidl /Aldi / Rewe/ DM 12 minutes Bonn 45 -60 min Cologne Bonn Airport 45 min Cologne 1h-1.5h

Circus wagon on the sheep pasture

Surrounded by trusting sheep, our circus wagon is under a roof of maple trees. An exceptional home with panoramic views for 1–2 adults. Sheep cuddling included! If you want to hike, cycle or slow down, you are in the right place in the Windecker Ländchen. The circus wagon is located on a separate property behind our house on our sheep pasture. Private access & parking available. Every 30 minutes S-Bahn connection to Cologne (1 hour to Koelnmesse).

Bamenohl Castle - Fireplace room apartment

The over 700 year old castle Haus Bamenohl is hidden behind old trees in the middle of an idyllic park in the heart of the Sauerland hills. As guest of the Vicounts of Plettenberg, who have been living here since 1433, you can relax for some quiet days alone, spend a romantic weekend for two at the fireplace or take a family outing. Whether it's hiking in the wonderful nature, cycling, sailing, golfing, skiing - Bamenohl is worth a visit.

If you stay at this centrally located home, your family has all the important points of contact nearby, as well as shopping, doctors, pharmacies, etc. are within walking distance. Very spacious rooms allow quiet private ferry to switch off and recharge. For nature lovers, there are hiking trails and cycling trails. The detached detached house is very suitable for company excursions, fitters and also motorcycle clubs in Westerwald.

Die Wohnung ist frisch renoviert und liegt im historischen Dorfzentrum von Oberholzklau. Ich habe die Wohnung mit einem vollwertigen Arbeitsplatz (zweiter Monitor) ausgestattet. Wenn du also Teilweise von dort aus arbeiten musst und dich gerne in der Natur aufhältst, dann bist du hier richtig aufgehoben. Natürlich eignet sich die Wohnung aber auch um dich zu erholen und einfach ein bisschen Dorfromantik zu genießen.
