Welcome to Solhaga! Here, in the midst of the forest, you can enjoy the tranquility and the typical Småland atmosphere. The house is an old granary with charmingly low ceilings, newly renovated and modernly furnished. It is located about 25 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and about 50 minutes from Västervik and the archipelago. It offers all amenities and from the garden leads a path to the magical forest, a place for children and adults, for play and contemplation. Boat in its own small lake is included and child-friendly swimming area can be reached in 10 minutes.

Charming cottage near pool!

The cottage is located privately by the gravel road surrounded by pastures and forest. Here you can easily live close to nature. There is no electricity or running water, which means you can light candles, fire in the stove, shower outside in our outdoor shower, cook over an open fire/on a wood stove, grill or on the gas stove. Charming outdoor toilet available. A couple of kilometers away there is a municipal pool with changing room and shower.

Summer house by the lake

Relax with the whole family in this home by a lake surrounded by the Småland forests. By the lake you can fish and swim. The cottage is equipped with air conditioning, which provides a comfortable indoor temperature even during the hottest days of summer. The house is located just 10 minutes from the summer town of Västervik, and 30 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's world. Within 10 minutes drive, there are several lakes for fishing. The accommodation consists of a house of 100 sqm and a guest house of 25 sqm as well as a terrace of 80 sqm with a view.

Welcome to rent our cozy cottage in Grönhult, close to Vimmerby, Astrid Lindgren's World 23 km away and the summer town of Västervik 35 km away. The cottage is located on a gravel road, with the forest as its closest neighbour. A nice, child-friendly swimming area is five minutes away by car. Two bedrooms. Bathroom with shower (50-litre water heater). No sewer, so there is an incineration toilet. The kitchen has a stove, a half-size fridge/freezer and a microwave. There is an outdoor barbecue. For outdoor games, there is a dartboard, bocce and kubb.

Swedish lake house between Vimmerby and Västervik

Just over 15 minutes outside Astrid Lindgrens Vimmerby and about 30 minutes from the coastal town of Västervik you will find this place with its own garden and beach (shared with host). The view of the lake creates the conditions for lovely nature experiences - all year round! In winter time, lovely bonfires and in summer the lake cools! With a canoe (included), you can experience Kalmar County's largest lake with only the sound of the paddles heard, and you'll have the opportunity to see protected animals, from white-tailed eagles to otters.

Cottage in Djursdala - Bullebo

Stay at a charming little horse farm that offers a unique and scenic environment with its own garden. Located 15 minutes outside Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. Here is a newly renovated red little cottage with an annex, which together can accommodate up to six people. A short walk leads to a lake perfect for evening swimming, there is also a child-friendly swimming area with diving tower that is about five minutes away by car in Lake Juttern. Outside the junction is the Sevedeleden trail, which takes you to the Djursdalarunda.

Just outside Vimmerby city, you can stay in beautiful Djursdala in the large farmhouse Klocketorp. The village is a rural idyll known for its beautiful nature and is 13 km from Vimmerby. The accommodation can give you the opportunity to experience Astrid Lindgren's World and the places around it that are described in the author's books. Djursdala with its rolling hills, the hiking trail Djursdalarundan and the popular restaurant Musteriet is in itself a lovely place to enjoy. The 170 sqm house is perfect for a larger group.

Welcome to Villa Blanche a charming, white, wooden house in Stenberga – Småland. The house offers all comfort you need for a pleasant stay. Enjoy a cozy evening by the wood stove. Here you have lake Saljen close by (2km) where you can swim and fish. There are several walking trails directly from the house. In the beautiful garden we have a fire pit for grill evenings. From spring we will rent out our canoe. Go skiing, visit Astrid Lindgren park, visit a moose park or go down the zippline.

Resource in our cozy cottage, furnished with an eye for warm colors and soft materials. Lilla Stugan is located in the middle of the woods and meadows and has its own bathing area, sauna and boat. It is part of an old Swedish farmhouse on a 10 hectare property located between the lakes Rummelsrum and Hyttegöl. Get to know the rich fauna and flora directly from the terrace or during long walks in the area. After a dip in the lake, enjoy a barbecue on the attractively lit terrace.

Our summer cottage is located in the middle of Smålands nature near the small community of Locknevi, 27km from Vimmerby. The property is located on a very quiet rural road from where you can take wonderful bike tours and hikes in our picture book landscape. The next lake with a beach is 5 km away and the Baltic Sea is easy to reach by car.
