THREE GREAT NIGHTS HERE. GREAT LOCATION WITH AMISH-RUN STORE AN EASY WALK OF 200 YDS. FRONT PORCH GREAT FOR SITTING FOR SUNRISE OVER PASTORAL SCENERY WITH COFFEE OR IN EVENING WITH A GLASS OF WINE, JUST ENJOYING THE OCCASIONAL AMISH BUGGY OR AMISH SCOOTER BIKE PASS BY. ALMOST NO MOTOR VEHICLE TRAFFIC DURING THE WEEKDAYS, AT LEAST NOT IN MID-APRIL. AND A NICE PROPANE GRILL THERE ON THE FRONT PORCH IF NEEDED. VERY QUIET LOCATION AT LEAST WHEN WE WERE THERE ON APRIL WEEKDAYS. GRATEFUL FOR THE OLD-FASHIONED COFFEE-MAKER, THOUGH A KEURIG THERE TOO. NOTE THAT IT IS VERY DARK AT NIGHT THERE, WHICH WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THOUGH SOME MAY NOT I SUPPOSE. GREAT STAR SHOWS WITHOUT NUISANCE OUTSIDE LIGHTS ON POLES LIKE AT MANY PLACES IN OUR FEARFUL WORLD. THIS IS THE KIND OF COMMUNITY AND LOCATION WHERE LOCKING YOUR CAR DOOR OR THE LODGING'S DOOR IS UNNECESSARY AND ALMOST LAUGHABLE. WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR. OUR AMISH FAMILY NEIGHBORS WERE WONDERFUL - A BUGGY RIDE AND GOAT MILKING LESSONS. FUN.

My family and I stayed at CJ & Mitch’s place for 1 night on our way back home from visiting family out of state. Staying at a hotel with two children and a toddler isn’t much fun. We almost did until, luckily I checked Airbnb. CJ & Mitch’s beautiful home was near the half way point of our drive home. My whole family is so happy that we found CJ & Mitch’s gem up in the mountains! The views on the wraparound deck are absolutely breathtaking! My wife and I watch the sunset and sunrise on each side of the house. My two children were upset that we had to leave the next day. Especially after they got to play with their beautiful and friendly dogs most of the morning while I packed the car. CJ & Mitch go above and beyond expectations during your stay. I have never been to an Airbnb with such thoughtful, caring and welcoming owners! Highly recommended! We will definitely be booking in the future!

Excellent option in the area: super clean and neat house with a cool history, nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of WV. Easy and fast communication with the hosts. Highly recommended!
