It is somewhat hidden on the edge of the village of Wanzka, where there is an old monastery. The monks have certainly already appreciated the tranquility and the unique location in the middle of two lakes. Even if you are completely undisturbed here, any accompanying kids will quickly find a connection at the nearby bathing spot of the village.

A house in the fields

The house is situated alone in a sea of fields, surrounded by the wind in a fantastic perennial garden. With the help of many artist colleagues and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was converted and renovated into a small oasis and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created - and is still being created - in which 10 people can be accommodated in the guest part.

Each unit in the semi-detached house offers ample space for 7 people on two floors (3 bedrooms), a fireplace and a terrace with a small garden. Bicycles can be stored in a lockable shed. There is a supermarket with a bakery/butcher shop near the house, as well as a canoe rental service.
