A small barn built with friends during a barn raising. Simple, stylish, with underfloor heating, compact but with a sense of space. Deck with hammock and barbcue extends into fields at the back. Private, lovely spacious comfortable beds , rustic but with a touch of luxury. Thirty minutes to Oxford, two minutes drive to village of Great Tew and Soho . One of three properties on site ( we live in one) the other is called The Artists House and if booked together can sleep 12 guests in total.

Our beautiful, very spacious Victorian town house is situated in a lovely quiet road favoured by academics and creatives. We have 4 large double bedrooms, comfortable and spacious living spaces and parking for 2 cars. We include crisp white linens and towels which are high temperature washed and the house is deep cleaned. Vibrant East Oxford has some of the best restaurants and cafes. We are a short walk from Magdalen Bridge, the Botanical Gardens, punting and the historic city centre.

Our apartment is close to Oxford city centre, the Thames River, art and culture. Groceries, superb bakery, coffee shops and restaurants are a few minutes walk away. It is ideal for couples, business travellers, and families. The reason for a gap in reviews on our apartment since 2022: The apartment was rented by a lovely young couple long-term for 2 years since March 2022. They have now gone travelling in Australia(we are super jealous!). We have decided to short-let on Airbnb once again.

The Old Bookbinders Retreat 4 BR near city centre

Located in the heart of Jericho this characterful house offers plenty of space and is full of books. It has recently been refurbished and is an ideal place to stay for families, academics or professionals. Ideally located to explore the city centre! There is a playground just up the road and "Port Meadow", a wonderful place for long and short walks, is just 5 min away. (no hen or stag dos, no parties of any kind)
