Nestled between WV's highest peaks & within minutes of our country’s best fishing, hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, biking, skiing, hunting, Civil War Sites, & historic trains, River House is a perfect base for all WV has to offer.

Lit'l Country Comfort

Come and enjoy a relaxing, comfortable and peaceful stay at a fully furnished and renovated mobile home. This country home has a fully stocked kitchen, full bath, washer, dryer, and desk for a study area. Two (2) bedrooms: 1 queen; and bunk bed with full on bottom and twin on top. A fire pit to make S'mores! Coffee, tea, creamer, hot chocolate, snacks, toiletries, washing powders & paper towels, are provided for initial stay. Brent's Cabin

Enjoy our cozy and comfortable cabin situated on 20 private wooded acres near several trout streams, George Washington National Forest, Virginia Game Commission, hiking trails, and caves. Brent's Cabin sleeps four, including a double bed and two twin beds in the loft. For skiing we are 1 hour and 30 minutes from snowshoe and 30 minutes from The Homestead. For fishing we are 5 minutes away from the Bullpasture, 10 minutes from the Cowpasture, and 25 minutes from the Jackson River.

Located in the pristine Mill Gap Valley. At night you can reach out and touch the stars. National Forrest is close by too. Enjoy the peace and tranquility that can only be offered in Highland county. The farm along with our Maple Syrup is certified Organic. From our apple trees to our hay and pastures. We are Organic! If you would like a tour of our farm or maple operation, let us know! By September 2020, there will be a new outdoor living area with a hot tub and dining.

Welcome to our 10x16 A-frame cabin, with second floor loft. A quiet get-away, off by itself amongst trees, woodpeckers and blackberries. Loft area has a twin bed, accessible by ladder. Quiet, cozy and super comfortable, with heated floor bathhouse, flush toilet and hot shower a short walk away. There are farm animals in the neighborhood, so you can expect distant aromas and sounds associated with agriculture.
