Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area).

Gänsetrappe - Vacation in a monument

Immerse yourself in a world of the past. The Gänsetrappe is a 335-year-old individual monument in the old town of Ballenstedt. The house is detached on the approximately 1000 square meter property at the end of a dead end road. The originality has been preserved as much as possible and carefully combined with the contemporary requirements of a cozy vacation home. On the small terrace you can have a quiet breakfast or spend cozy evenings.

This beautiful apartment with its loft-like character allows an almost 360-degree view over the rooftops of the Schlossberg. In the center of the living area there is a beautiful fireplace with a side reading corner and a cozy sofa overlooking the flickering fireplace. In the entrance area, next to the daylight bathroom with shower, there is a small kitchenette with dining area for morning breakfast including a view over the old town of Quedlinburg.

Enjoy the sounds of nature when staying in this special place. In the cozy yurt there is a 1.40 m double bed and a single bed. A toilet and shower (of course with warm water!) are available in the sanitary area on the property. A sauna with a wood-burning stove and panoramic views of the river is also available to all guests. There are many hiking trails and interesting sights to visit nearby.

Our 42 m² apartment is located in the attic of our house. It is very bright and friendly. A bedroom, a living room with dining area and cozy couch, a kitchen and a bathroom with tub, toilet and washing area are available. There is also a roof terrace in front of the living room. You can enjoy nature in peace on this. TV and free Wi-Fi are provided.
