We had a great time with the family at Adi's house. The house is very spacious, and the beds comfortable. An extra double bed, which was not on the listing, is in an open room upstairs, so we were able to sleep 5 people without a problem, without using the ground floor living room as a bedroom. Adi's parents, who live in the neighboring house, are very welcoming and speak French: what a nice surprise, even though we had tried to learn a few words in Romanian! This made the exchanges all the easier and more rewarding. The house is well located for visiting Maramureș (Săpânța, Sighetu Marmatiei, Bârsana, Breb, Borșa, etc.).

We recently stayed at this modern lodge in Maramureș, and it was an unforgettable experience. We had a wonderful stay at Bjorn and Florentina's house. The location is quiet, peaceful and beautiful - A fantastic part of Romania to be emersed in nature. The house was perfect for us. Bjorn was so helpful in giving us advise around things to do locally. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay (8 people) was amazing! The house is very cosy, well equipped, clean, and certainly aesthetically pleasing. The traditional interior, the fireplace, the outdoor hot tub, and the outdoor cooking pavilion created a remarkable ambience. The place is quite isolated, so it is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Our host was very responsive, polite, and friendly!! The location is perfect for emerging in the traditional Romanian village lifestyle 👌 Highly recommend!! We loved it and we'll come back for sure!!

The Lake Cottage to the Mountain

Adela's house is a wonderful place in a quiet valley in the Maramureş Mountains. Cows with bells attached to their necks graze around. A real idyll! In addition, there is no network, so you can log out and admire the surroundings. You can hear owls in the evenings. The cottage has all the necessary amenities. Adela was very nice and helpful. During our stay, we had a problem with a lack of water, but Adela's family quickly dealt with it. We will be happy to come back here

The best place I have stayed with family this summer. Quiet, clean, spacious, easy to find, but in the same time close to town centre, to Mocanita and to supermarket. We liked the wooden terrace, the spacious garden, the books and the games available. The whole house was spotlessly cleaned, the white towels and linens gave a welcomed feel. The style is modern and functional with some traditional details without being in the way. The friendly host contacted me in time with clear check-in details and was available if needed for the duration of the stay. We would love to stay here again in the future

Ileana’s place is a warm home in the heart on Maramures area close by to the most important things to do. It is also placed in a quiet area of rhe village. She ia a very friendly and welcoming host always willing to provide the best to the tourist. I strongly recommend her and wish to come back soon.
