House vacation rentals in Bogota

The house is beautiful, exit from the traditional, with a colonial and antioque style that it falls in love, but in turn with elegance and amenities, each space is unique, it has an antioque kiosko where we enjoy a night of cocktails. My kids enjoyed the soccer field and billiards. We loved the variety of trees, plants and birds the house has. The location is excellent, close to everything, to walk if desired. We attended very well, super recommended, sure to come back.

Superb Apartment! Best Host. Pictures do not do this unit justice. Separate kitchen, office area and dining. Spacious. Extra blankets & pillows, excellent modern lighting in every room, non-stick cookware (NO aluminum), hot water on demand, movie channels, youtube etc., there were spices and condiments in my unit, the most comfortable bed ever with reachable light controls. List goes on - but all of the decor and furniture including chair cushions and woodwork is custom made by Claudio himself whom is quite an artist. He is working on a couple new & tasteful units that I had the fortune of seeing. Granite countertops in kitchen & bathrooms!! There are even motion sensored lights on both floors when you enter the building and also in the covered patio area on 2nd floor outside the apartments. This apartment was incredible value and the nicest place I stayed at in Bogota and all of Colombia and will only ever stay in Claudio's units if in Bogota in the future.

Everything was as expected and the friendliness and hospitality were next to none. Everything Karen and Samuel did from offering breakfast service to making us feel at home was more than we could have asked for. However, there are a few things to keep in mind that are just quirks of being in the boonies: the reception is spotty at best inside the house due to the construction materials, and the WiFi is mostly unavailable and slow due to being in the mountains (don’t expect to get anything done, just enjoy the views and seclusion this place offers), Uber/DiDi/Cabify are nearly impossible to get after dark if you want to leave and people are hesitant to take you back (tell the driver they won’t have to pay the toll on the way back from Chia), and lastly there is no hot water (particularly if you’re coming from the US technically hot by Colombian standards). Stay here if you want to unplug, enjoy nature, and take cold(er than expected) showers.

Everything was very good, we were very comfortable and safe, the only thing I would tell them to take into account is that the washing machine is very slow, there is no clothes dryer and when several electrical things are being used at the same time the breaker trips. It happened to us 2 times in a row but it is an excellent place

The hosts were extremely kind and wonderful people, always attentive and responsive. They were helpful and attentive, and very sensitive to our needs when we needed any changes. The home was exactly as described in the pictures and had everything we needed for our stay. Everything we needed was nearby and most things where right around the corner. Thanks for everything!

A very magical experience in the jungle with beautiful, lush forest surrounding the property. The groundskeepers/housekeepers Ignacio and his wife were very kind and helpful, insuring the Jacuzzi was filled up and making us a delicious sangria. The only issue we had was that there was not hot water in the outdoor showers. The house itself could use a few improvements, but it was a great value. Definitely would recommend for a relaxing stay.

Excellent host, excellent house, excellent location

The Villalba house is a very comfortable place and the location is very central and because it is a historic area of Bogotá it is very quiet and safe. Adriana was very attentive to respond to inquiries.

Beautiful house of rest. Luis coordinated for Marisol to come and help us with cleaning and cooking. The light went out by a storm the last night but the emergency power plant turned on and kept power for a few hours. In general, everything was very good, the place has beautiful views and you can see many birds.

2nd time visiting and it’s seriously paradise. The family and I love everything about this place and will definitely be returning for a 3rd time sooner than later!

I was a week with my family, there were 9 people, the house was very comfortable, clean with all the necessary utensils. The neighborhood is very quiet, there is a bakery and an OXXO nearby, and at the front a restaurant called La Tiendecita that was good food. The host helped us with transportation from the airport to the house and 2 tours, one to the Catedral de la Sal and another to Jaime Duque. Important to be informed of how to use the water heater in case it was turned off. Of course I would stay here again

We really enjoyed our stay at the accommodation, just as described. Norma was very attentive to us, ready to solve any unexpected issues, and the lady who helped us at the house was very friendly and helpful. Bringing in the new year at this accommodation was very special. Our children enjoyed it, our dogs enjoyed it. Everything was perfect.
