Sofia and her staff were very friendly and responsive. Enjoyed my stay very much. Internet was not very reliable so if you require for work or personal just be sure you have an adequate backup plan.

Betty Lucy is a great host!! Her place is close to everything in Kampala. It’s right on the main artery for easy transportation with Uber and Safe Boda. It’s safe, and though in the city, it’s very quiet and when inside, you are tucked away from the city bustle. The co-host Sarah was very helpful with providing local useful information. Our stay at Sunset Villa was one of the most amazing and pleasant experiences of my life. Doreka and Herbert are the most hospitable people we have ever met, they were very supportive and provided us anything we needed. Upon arrival we were greeted by lush green gardens with an assortment of fruit trees. once we entered the home the atmosphere was warm pleasant and very inviting, The interior was very beautiful, tidy, organized and the owner left us a surprise gift on our last day of a special dish .. thank you very much Doreka. The place was so peaceful and very quiet with 24 hour security protection. Overall I would rate the Sunset Villa five stars and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Uganda.

I had such a great time at HK apartments. It was a home away from home. Help was always just a text away and Roger is THE GUY, always there to help and very polite and respectful. I would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to be back. Hopefully they fix that road soon lol.
