Our house is the perfect getaway for a family, group of friends or a couple. The lake and gardens around the house provide the quiet and peace of a retreat place, away from the busyness and distractions of the city. It's a very pretty drive to Columbia, MO (about 30 minutes), and 20 minutes to Rocheport, a very cute historical town by the Missouri River. A beautiful attraction that is close to our property is the Warm Springs Ranch. The Clydesdale breeding farm. This is a great place to visit.

The Bluff House faces the Missouri River on 7 acres of beauty, neighboring the Bougeois Winery! The Katy trail & Rocheport are 1 mile away. Our home is two stories. We are upstairs and the Air BNB is downstairs. The Airbnb has a spacious living room, fireplace and dining room. All with views of the river and an open concept kitchen. Your entrance is completely separate and locked for use only by you. You will have a private covered deck, Bench on the bluff, Bikes, Fire pit and a Hammock!

Enjoy the outdoors via the dock, fire pit area, screened in porch and hammocks. This private guest suite is the entire lower level and offers a large great room with full kitchen and two large bedrooms. Each bedroom has access to a bathroom and sink and there is a combination shower/jetted tub between. Stylish decor. Come stay and leave refreshed.

You’ll have the entire lower-level to yourselves to enjoy the comforts of home. Sleep deep with comfy covers—oh, so clean—breakfast ingredients are supplied in fridge. To offset “no cleaning fee” $10 /guest per night--added for each guest after 3rd. (Closed for MARCH 2026 for my ankle surgery. Ouch!)

The round common room has a kitchenette, queen-size bed, table, chairs, and a futon which opens out to a double bed. A shower room completes the setting. And now no additional cleaning fee!. also, the water is from our deep well: tested, certified.... And delicious!

Dripping Creek Cabin

Dripping Creek Cabin is a nice getaway between Fowler and Middle Branch creeks. Come walk the creek and dip if the water is up, get in the hot tub, or just walk the hills and valley. It's not far from both Columbia and Jefferson City as well as nature areas outside Hartsburg and Ashland. No ATVs allowed! There are trails north of I-70 in the Finger Lakes area if you’re looking for a place. Inquire about longer stays by message!

Urban 'FUN'galow in central city /No cleaning fees

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. This 100 year old bungalow serves as my private hair and photography studio when it's not moonlighting as a short-term rental! But don't worry...you will have the entire place to yourself! I pride myself on creating an excellent experience for my guests. Excellent for 1 to 4 guests. You will love the central location and the fun house!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful, spacious, private home in a quiet, leafy neighborhood. Less than 1 mile off I-70 & 4 miles from downtown/campus/MU and Boone hospitals. Pet- and kid-friendly with a sizable, securely fenced backyard and cement patio with fire pit, charcoal grill, outdoor furniture and canvas shade. Cozy, modern interior features 40 original paintings by the owner and an electric fireplace.

The unit is in a rustic country setting on a dead end gravel road. Although it feels as though you are far away from everything, you are only 7 miles from the University of Missouri. We are very close to the hiking and nature trails, the Missouri River, and the local winery. Our setting is unique and creates the sense that you have truly gotten away from the hustle and bustle of life.
