We are 1 kilometre away from the neighbour, and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometres away. It is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! We have expanded the former granary under the roof of the old customs castle: 3 double rooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 combined kitchen/living room, ideally suited for a cozy stay with a historic ambiance. The flower corner in the courtyard with table and benches is also at your disposal. The city, park and pier are within walking distance. My home is nestled in Germany’s greenest corner – the Hunsrück. 🌿 Around 58% of the region is covered by forest, so fresh air, peaceful woodland walks and nature are right on your doorstep.

Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. In a short time, you're at Johannisberg Castle, Rüdesheim with Drosselgasse, abbey and romantic castles.

Spend a nice time with friends, family or as a couple. The accommodation is comfortably equipped and very lovingly furnished. The green courtyard is also great. Pets are welcome upon request. The cozy ambience invites you to linger and is the ideal starting point for excursions. So you can explore the Maifeld, hike the dream paths, visit Eltz Castle, take part in a wine tasting on the Mosel or take a boat trip on the Rhine.
