The B&B with large private garden and unobstructed view is completely shielded from the farmhouse by a fence and is only accessible to you as a guest. From the Finnish barrel sauna on the adjacent terrace, you can look out over the picturesque city meadows. A delicious breakfast of your choice is optional.

Stay in a traditional Dutch Miller’s Cabin beside an authentic 1632 windmill, surrounded by canals and nature in the North Holland countryside. Hand built during the windmill’s restoration, the cabin offers a peaceful and unique stay while still being close to Alkmaar and only 40 minutes from Amsterdam by train. I am a traditional Dutch miller born and raised in Alkmaar, and my American wife, Kelly, and I enjoy sharing this special place with guests from around the world.

Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace by the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

It is located on through water with beautiful views and privacy. The garden is fully enclosed Papenveer is a cozy, cottage with a modern kitchen and fully equipped bathroom and 2 bedrooms. This lovely cozy cottage is located in a beautiful location in the outskirts of the Frisian Noordwolde, where there are many birds to be seen. Fully furnished, with a cozy pellet stove and a wood stove, this is really a place to relax and unwind! The cottage has its own garden and borders a forest, where you can take a nice walk and in the vicinity there are many more hiking areas. You can also walk from the cottage to a nice swimming pool in about 20 minutes.
