stay 3 days 2 pm , overall everything is ok, the homestay is the best only thing that lacks parking , parking is for guests so if you want to park in the building you have to pay , if you pay you have to park a little outside, you even want to go up and get a cheap 😂 parking building that's also an hour Rm1 nah matai 😌

I had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and in a great location. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in super easy. good place for staycation

Really enjoyed my stay at Emily’s place. The location is convenient, has a great view,the apartment is clean and Emily is so helpful in ensuring my stay is as comfortable as possible . This will be my go to place when I visit KK.

Emily is very friendly. Her home is cozy and clean, and she even provided slippers, a toothbrush, and towels! It was a great accommodation experience.

We traveled with friends, and the six of us (four adults and two kids) stayed at Welyne and Gilles' home during our visit to Sarawak. We all had a wonderful time. The house is situated in a peaceful and scenic location, perfect for relaxing and recharging. It’s also conveniently close to the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre, about a 30-minute drive from downtown. The house itself is well-maintained, comfortable with pool, and very well equipped with everything we needed to feel at home. Welyne and Gilles were excellent hosts—very friendly and accommodating. We especially appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the local culture, enjoy delicious meals, and take part in a durian tasting that Welyne kindly arranged. Thank you for a lovely stay. We hope to visit again in the future!

The whole B&B is warm and clean, and the place is very convenient.

WOW - an amazing 5D/4N. 5 glorious days of relaxing: 2+h snorkeling trips every morning & even longer trips in the afternoons, fishing from the "flying banana", swimming with green turtles, evenings chilling on a private deck in the hammocks or ocean swing & just time to breathe & discover island life (outside of the westernised veneer of the resorts). It takes less than 30min to circumnavigate Mabul at a leisurely pace. We met Reed & Nor as hosts & guests but became friends. With no running hot water (that said the cold showers were refreshing & very welcome), no air con (in 39+ C but fans in our bedroom with a full opening wall to the deck provided more than adequate ventilation) & sporadic electricity it is not for everyone but adds to the authenticity of living on the island (& with power banks was no issue at all). Al (boat driver & turtle spotter 🐢 extrodinaire) & Ry (house helper) couldn't have been kinder when stepping up to run lodge unexpectedly. Amazing meals & perfect stay

I would say that the home felt very cosy and a quiet place for family. On top of the all excellent amenities and facilities such as bedroom, bathroom and kitchen, the host really pull an effort to make the place feels like home by providing indoor boardgames such as scrabble, carrom and congkak, which lighten up the moods for my kids. Overall, excellent stay and highly recommended.

The homestay was incredibly comfortable and looked exactly like the photos provided. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and as described. A great value for the money—highly recommended!

Amazing Family Stay with a Private Pool – Unforgettable Experience! Our family had a fantastic time at Ocean Villa! The private pool was definitely a highlight—our kids spent hours swimming and playing while we relaxed poolside. It made the whole trip feel extra special and private. The villa was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for families. We felt right at home with everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and a safe, peaceful environment. Check-in was super easy, and the host was kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. The location was quiet but close enough to restaurants and shops, which made it super convenient for a family trip. This place offered great value and created beautiful memories for us. The place is very comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, which is perfect for anyone who loves to prepare their own meals. The place was also spotless, making it a very pleasant and relaxing environment. Would definitely stay again!

pros: very good location, walking distance (abt 15min) to Gaya street (but the weather is too hot so we still took a grab). also not far from the beach and airport The host was very responsive. The house is large and easy to check in. rooms are clean. good for a group stay. Overall worth the price! cons: It's near the airport, so sometimes the noise of airplanes is annoying. The flow of the shower head is weak...

The host was particularly friendly, I checked in at night and had a lot of questions to ask, she would always reply patiently, including needing to leave luggage would also recommend a nearby storehouse.Awesome! I'll choose you when I come back to Kota Kinabalu again😊😊

We loved our stay here! A lovely home, beautiful view and great location - so good having all the shops and restaurants so close. Jennifer was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

The house is located near the Abbey Vegetable Market, you can buy your own lunch at the back of the market and process it at the processing point on the second floor of the market, you can go to the night market for dinner, it is relatively close to the durian stall under the Tianqiao and the night market on Jia Ya Street, you can walk to it

Brilliant place with spectacular view. We love & enjoyed our stay here. Great value for money & easy place for everything. Siaw Chin was an exceptional host. She went above & beyond for us which was hugely appreciated. Highly recommended. We will definitely stay here if come again.
