The house is newly renovated and modernly furnished and is located about 25 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and about 50 minutes from Västervik and the Småland archipelago. It offers all amenities, and from the garden, a path leads to the magical forest, a place for children and adults, for play and contemplation. A boat on our own small lake is included, and a child-friendly swimming area can be reached in 10 minutes.

 Only 15 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's world in Vimmerby. The house is located very beautifully and undisturbed with large lake plot, private swimming area and jetty. Perfect to 1-2 families. Here you have a fantastic view of the lake and idyllic surroundings in the small Småland village of Solnebo. In short walking distance there is a very child-friendly swimming area. Perfect starting point to explore Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and the surrounding area. Warm welcome!

Large family-friendly summer house in a rural setting

Stay in a rural setting in a large house with park-like garden. Suitable for one or more families to live together (in the same company). 10 beds are included in the basic price - if more are desired: ask in booking. Large kitchen with all equipment you could wish for. You have four bedrooms where you can choose how to distribute your number of beds (two downstairs in the file and two separate upstairs). You will have the entire house by yourselves. Located in the environment where some of Astrid Lindgren's films were recorded. Welcome with the request!

Swedish lake house between Vimmerby and Västervik

Just over 15 minutes outside Astrid Lindgrens Vimmerby and about 30 minutes from the coastal town of Västervik you will find this place with its own garden and beach (shared with host). The view of the lake creates the conditions for lovely nature experiences - all year round! In winter time, lovely bonfires and in summer the lake cools! With a canoe (included), you can experience Kalmar County's largest lake with only the sound of the paddles heard, and you'll have the opportunity to see protected animals, from white-tailed eagles to otters.

A nice house with outdoor area. There is a playground nearby (5-minute walk). Grocery store (10-minute walk). Not far from Vimmerby (10 min) and Västervik (35 min). Kitchen, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, kettle, stove, oven. Living room, toys for the children, sofa as extra sleeping spots. Two bedrooms. Toilet and shower room - washing machine. Cleaning, bed linen and towels are included. The guests are responsible to leave the property in a nice and good condition. Unfortunately, pets are not welcome.

Grankvistgården (Farmhouse)

Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the center of Vimmerby. Access to a wonderful large garden with a gazebo and parking in the yard. Here you live centrally but privately and are close to both shops, restaurants and Astrid Lindgren's World. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as well as a smaller child as there is a crib. Alternatively, 4 adults. Bed linens and towels are not included. The guest cleans up before check-out.

Welcome to a charming farm cottage from the 1880s, just 10 minutes from Vimmerby. Enjoy a rural stay with modern comfort and space for 6 – two sofa beds downstairs, one double and two single beds in the loft. Duvets, pillows, kitchen and toilet towels are included. Bring your own bed linen and towels, or rent for 100 SEK/set. Shower and washing machine in a separate room. Garden, forest and meadows nearby. Bathing spot 2.5 km away. Uncleaned stay will incur a cleaning fee of 500 SEK.

Our summer cottage is located in the middle of Smålands nature near the small community of Locknevi, 27km from Vimmerby. The property is located on a very quiet rural road from where you can take wonderful bike tours and hikes in our picture book landscape. The next lake with a beach is 5 km away and the Baltic Sea is easy to reach by car. Excursions: e.g. Astrid Lindgren's birthplace, Astrid Lindgren's world, many film locations and Västervik on the archipelago

The farmhouse in Mariannelund

Welcome to Drängstugan! A charming, tastefully renovated house with a lot of space, in the middle of the Småland forest, 7 km from Mariannelund. Similar to the farmhouse Emil's friend Alfred lived in, but much more modern inside 😁 It is a large leafy plot that is shared with the host's house. Nice to just enjoy the house, sit by the patio or walk in the forest. A bit away along the gravel road, you have magnificent views.
