Vacation rentals in Buca Bay

Stayed with my wife and 1 year old son. Wanted to keep away from the resorts and have a more natural rustic Fiji stay. Was very quiet with lots of nice gardens, friendly and helpful caretakers with the option of breakfast and dinners home made yummy meals, heaps of room in cottage with cold aircon, right on the beach plus a the bonus of a deep lagoon only a few hundred meters up the beach.

We had a great stay at Aaron’s place. It’s perfect for families looking for a self-contained unit and is located in a very convenient, safe area. The space was comfortable, and we felt right at home. The only downside was the lack of internet, which made it difficult to watch local TV or stream Netflix in the evenings. However, these were minor issues and didn’t take away from the overall experience. The accommodation was definitely worth the price, and we’d consider staying here again.

The location and the house were so much more than we had hoped for. The pictures on Airbnb do not do it justice. Seni and her family are lovely and if I could have changed anything about our stay it would have been to take advantage of Seni’s cooking sooner than we did. We easily could have stayed longer

We were happily suprised that this place is actually part of the resort and we were treated like such by everybody. The rooms were beautiful and the lagoon was amazing to swim in. Even better than the front of the resort in my opinion as it was calm, no waves and right outside our steps! We loved this place and felt so spoilt to be there. Dani is one of the best hosts we’ve ever dealt with. Very communicative, consistent, and committed to making your stay as great as possible. My wife and I stayed here for two nights whilst visiting Savusavu and it is stunning. The layout, location, pool, gazebo, interior design, etc.. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

More than I could have asked for. Hospitality! I accidentally locked myself out of the place after only being here for 15 mins. (Note: if you walk out the back door it will lock behind you 😁) They were so nice about getting me back inside. They were not upset or frustrated with me for being a pain. They offered MORE hospitality. There was fresh fruit waiting for me when I arrived which was fantastic. They took me on a tour of the area and showed me to the private waterfall and more. It was like they brought me into the family. But when I was at the place they didn't bother me at all. Very private and quiet. The waterfall was amazing and the view from up on the mountain is one of the greatest views I've ever seen. They are also right across the street from the ocean. Air conditioners worked very well. The animals on the property were fun to watch.

We had such a fabulous stay at Jodie’s. Best view in all of Savusavu! Jodie was very easy to contact and super responsive. We really appreciated all the local tips including reliable taxis and at home massage therapist. The house is at the top of a long, steep and bumpy road but thankfully most local taxi drivers were game to take it on! House is great for 4 couples or a group of friends. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Already dreaming of our next visit.

The beach cottage is absolutely charming, peaceful, and private and just steps away from breathtaking views of the coastline and the main house, the heartbeat of the estate. Bedelia is a superhost for a reason! She and the staff are always puts the comfort of the guest first, making sure everything is set. Superhost, super human being! The food was absolutely 5 stars everyday, healthy and hearty. Having the dogs around for a swim or stroll was lovely too. Looking for a place to feel completely at peace and full of gratitude, this is it. 100% will come back, 100% recommending. Thanks for everything, Bedelia. xo.

Charlotte's cabin is a true paradise. If you seek a private, secluded, and serene getaway, look no further. During our entire six-night stay, we didn't encounter a single person, and we had the beach entirely to ourselves. The cottage is nestled in a beautiful garden, surrounded by papayas, flowers, and coconut trees. I highly recommend this location and would definitely return. Charlotte was incredibly helpful, promptly responding to our messages and providing us with tips and ideas whenever we needed assistance. I recommend renting a car, as there are no restaurants or shops within walking distance.
