It has been completely renovated with all the modern conveniences including brand new beds and appliances. Within 6 miles of Audra State Park with beautiful hiking trails, tubing & fishing.
“This place was awesome for a secluded coronavacation. We visited with our 2 and 3 year old and we had so much fun fishing, swimming, cooking on the campfire, and visiting nearby Audra State Park. The house is also fabulous - the beds were very cozy and the kitchen had everything we needed. The smores and hotdogs for roasting were a really thoughtful touch. The river in front of the house is very slow moving and so it was very safe for swimming with little ones. Audra State Park gets a lot of visitors but the Alum Cave trail has several spots where you can find a secluded spot to hang out along the water. By hiking for probably less than a mile, we found our own little private beach on the river.”

“The cabin is a great place to hang out and get away. We wanted somewhere that had river access where we could fish, which is pretty hard to find. The river was really high during our stay so the fishing was not good for us. We spent the evenings sitting on the "beach" by a fire. The neighbors house is super close to the cabin, it wasn't a problem for us, they were really nice but the cabin is not secluded from other people. We did drive the short distance to Audra State Park, the cave trail is beautiful! I actually enjoyed the "outside" shower, I think I need to build one at my house! Dennis was super kind and quick to respond, the check-in and out was easy. Google maps took us right to the cabin. We drove into Buckhannon for a few supplies and tried the Muskee fishing there.”
