But if you've ever watched HGTV, you'll see that people across the country are creating short-term rentals out of all kinds of crazy things, from shipping containers and barns, to old warehouses. Well, in Cross Lanes WV, we took our cues from those folks on TV and created a short-term rental out of a storage unit! Conveniently located, just off I64, and only 1 mile to the Mardi Gras Casino.

Wisteria Way - 2 Bedroom Apt w/lots of charm

Lovely, fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment with historic charm. Refinished hardwood floors and tons of natural light make this space beautiful and welcoming. Located the in the heart of small town Saint Albans, you’re just blocks away from dining options, library, coffee shop, and parks. Flat sidewalks make the neighborhood perfect for walking or running. Continental breakfast items provided for guests. Hot breakfast offered on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) upon request with 24 hour notice.

Suite on Sunset Ridge, 26 acres and a small pond.

This remodeled suite, located on the back half of a duplex home, faces our wooded 26 acre lot and short walk to a small pond. It has 2 porches with their own private entrance. This suite has an open area that has a king bedroom, kitchen, dining and living room, 1 full bathroom and a laundry room. Has an additional bedroom that has a full bed, its own tv and locking door. This property is within 15 minutes from 2 major hospitals, Marshall University, downtown Huntington and the Huntington Mall.

We are within short driving distance to: Marshall University, Cabell Huntington Hospital or St. Mary's, the Huntington Mall The place is small, quaint and cozy, offers a full kitchen, comfy bed, we live close to a highway so there is some traffic and our driveway is at a incline we are in a protected area which is near the city and on a bus line. The 12x40ft space has a queen, 2 twins, another bed in the loft, and a couch, and would be great for families, hunters, or couples. Each day includes 2 made-from-scratch Breakfasts & coffee (up to a $26 value) and owners live onsite should any issues arise. Pet friendly. Free wi-fi available.

Updated with comfort and security in mind. This 1 br/1 bath unit is a river-front property with a calming river-view from the desk area. The space offers a galley kitchen with a gas stove, microwave and toaster oven. The bedroom has a queen memory foam mattress and black-out curtains. In the living room, there is ample seating, a work area, and smart tv. The bathroom and laundry areas are updated to offer all of the amenities that one would expect. Wi-fi and self check-in with smart lock.

Peaceful & beautiful views. Less than 2 miles from downtown. Your own private walking path. Escape from stress to this cozy cabin on 3.1 acres. A country setting with fruit trees and wild berries. Wake up to deer just outside your door. Visit downtown Pt. Pleasant where you’ll find multiple shops, restaurants and the Mothman Statue. There’s also Tu Endie Wei State Park and a river walk with hand painted murals along the flood wall. A PERFECT place for a Mothman enthusiast!!

Foxtail Retreat

***brand new hot tub*** A little two bedroom wooden cabin. Enjoy a crisp, cool morning with a cup of coffee. Enjoy the views of color changing mountains. Warm up in the hot tub under the stars. Have a nice warm cup of apple cider by the bonfire overlooking the mountains. Bring your atv and enjoy adventure riding in the back country of Wirt county. After a long day, cuddle up on the couch and watch a move in front of the fireplace. 4wd required a steep driveway.

Cozy 2-Bedroom River Cabin with Private Dock

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway: The River Cabin has a large, covered porch overlooking Millcreek and exclusive access to a dock, fire-ring area, and deck with table, chairs and umbrella. It sleeps five (2 full size, 1 twin). Includes a fully stocked kitchen, a full bathroom, and linens. The dock sits right on Millcreek, and is a lovely place to relax and fish. Up to 2 pets allowed for a fee. Additional $5 daily charge the 5th guest.
