Rural guesthouse

Our guesthouse (2015) is located at a unique spot in "Mooi Drenthe". It sits idyllically among characteristic farms near Peize and Roden. You'll love our place because of the tranquility and the beautiful views over the countryside. This area is known for its many hiking and biking trails and is very close to the city for fascinating excursions in the cultural area. Our place is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers, and can also be rented for longer periods of time.

Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment (45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Through the landing, you enter your own bathroom with sinks, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons, there is a second living/bedroom in the apartment available (25 m2 extra) Pets are allowed only after consultation.

You will spend the night in a cozy guesthouse with a bathroom and kitchenette including fridge and induction hobs. The silence and the wonderful bed will help you start a new day well rested. You may use our large nature garden behind the house. It's lovely to sit by the pond with the storks in the background.

From your bed, you can look into the garden or the woods.

Welcome to Donderen, a lovely village located in the head of Drenthe. Near the cities of Groningen and Assen (both about 15 to 20 minutes drive), Eelde airport (about 10 minutes drive), the cozy villages of Norg and Zuidlaren, National Park Drentse AA and nature reserve Noordscheveld. Ideal base for cycling and hiking tours. The accommodation is less easily accessible by public transportation.

Enjoy greenery, tranquility and nature sounds in this Scandinavian-style converted cow barn. With stunning views over our food forest, you can enjoy the whole evening at the cozy campfire. The sunset colors the sky while birds sing. Stroll through the meadow and spot wildlife. A place to just "be", away from the crowds. We are happy to welcome you to share our place outside with you!

Cottage Jasmine has an extensive kitchen with a large stove, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, a luxury bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bedroom with a double bed and a cozy living room with television and cozy pellet stove. Everything is on the same floor in the cottage. In front of the cottage, you have a cozy terrace with a south-facing garden.

Chateau Weiland Incl. Breakfast

Chateau Weiland is a lovely light cottage with its own entrance plus views of the greenery. A good bed and a nice shower. Equipped with all comforts such as well-functioning internet (fiberglass), air conditioning, and a kitchenette. With nice weather, you can open the doors to the terrace and enjoy the sun on 1 of the sunbeds in the garden.
