Beautiful home in the woods! The house was spotless when I arrived. We all enjoyed our stay! We ran out of toilet paper, 10 women in a house, but Alison was quick to respond. Very peaceful. I loved the screened in porch, best place to drink coffee in the morning!

Michele and Phil’s “The Villa Goshen” was a perfect location and provided all the amenities and space our family needed for our visit. The first night, a storm came through; a tornado warning was issued, sirens rang, and lightening hit right next to the house. Michele communicated during the whole event to make sure all of us were aware and stayed safe. Michele and Phil make this home both comforting and welcoming to their guests.

LOVED it! Was there on a business trip in late winter, and wished it was for pleasure, and in a warmer month, so I could enjoy the lake it sits on, and get to relax while there. However, I was overwhelmed with prep for television and radio appearances and a live cooking show, so I only had the pleasure of using the AWESOME soaking tub to de-stress from super long hectic days, sleeping very well in oh-so-comfy bedding, and tossing together breakfast in a charming kitchen stocked with basics, as well as a well-stocked coffee bar. I thought the fresh creamer in the fridge was a nice touch, and I loved sitting at the kitchen table enjoying my coffee and the beautiful lake view. I hope to return some day -under less stressful circumstances- so I can get to enjoy all its outdoor amenities in warmer weather, too. I also want to mention that I felt very safe staying there alone (owners live next door) and the place is so cozy I felt like I was at home throughout my entire 3-day stay.

Patti’s place was exactly what I needed, peaceful, serene, with a beautiful view and a cozy fire pit. I loved spending time around her horse and donkey. They added such a special touch to the experience. Patti was incredibly accommodating, even providing an extra heater, which I truly appreciated since I’m always cold. She was very responsive, kind, and polite, and I felt completely safe during my stay. I’m already looking forward to going back! Thank you for having me. 😇

This is the second time we stayed at Serenity Cottage, Lake Of The Woods It is an ideal location for us because we have family in Bremen, Bourbon, and Plymouth. The setting is beautiful. We love the big open family area. The kitchen is lovely and we usually cook most of our meals so it is stocked well enough to do this. The owner lives next-door and checked in to make sure everything was OK. We will definitely stay here again.

Jan and Dennis are wonderful hosts, will be coming back! We got the opportunity to talk to them and we found out that they have lived in the area for quite a while. they had knowledge of the area and some great recommendations. They were attentive hosts and great people. We can't wait for our next vacation here!

My family of three had a great stay. Our daughter had a hockey tournament at the Compton ice arena and Stephanie was so helpful. We even thought we’d have to extend our stay, so a bit of back and forth communication. She was there to help if we needed to stay longer or cut our time short. Loved her support. From when I booked the house to when I checked out. The house is adorable. Great attention to detail with their AirBnb. Every little detail was thought of which made our stay that much more enjoyable. Would 100% be back.

Our hosts were amazing! They took us in with a warm welcome and support after we were in immediate need of housing. The amenities were excellent from coffee to toothbrushes, dishes and linens. They had everything we needed to walk in and get a good night's sleep. We enjoyed the view, sunshine and time together with our family.

Jill is an amazing host who is very responsive & considerate, and Bees Place is very welcoming! The home's architecture is great, it's furnished with so many interesting details, and is stocked up with various supplies & amenities that I've never had at other Airbnbs. This was such a peaceful getaway with plenty of things to do/eat locally (even if you're not going into the National Park). Tryon Farm is wonderful - well maintained, lots to explore, and most importantly I felt safe as a solo female traveler (sufficiently private without complete seclusion). My four-legged child was in her element on Tryon Farm and we already can't wait to go back!
