“Perfection! My boyfriend and I wanted a weekend away from life and this was it. There was quite a bit of unexpected snowfall while we were at lunch in Lake Arrowhead Village the day we were expected to check in and my little sedan got stranded in the parking lot. Paul was brilliant and managed to have his neighbors come and rescue us! We were also graciously allowed to wait in the cottage while the house keeper finished working. As the cottage is less than a mile from the village we managed to walk back and retrieve my car as soon as the streets were plowed a few hours later. What could have been an absolutely terrible start to a quick holiday instead became just a part of the adventure. As for the cottage itself, it is fantastic! The views are exceptional. It is so incredibly peaceful and quiet. Someone had great fun with a label maker 😂 There are labels on all the drawers and cupboards in the kitchen so you don’t have to scratch around looking for things. The kitchen has absolutely everything you might need. My favorite detail was the label in the shower to show where the handle needed to be for the hottest water! Everything had cleanly written instructions so we never wondered what we ought to do. The bedroom and shower are spacious and the bed is heated which was brilliant because we chose not to heat the place up much. It would defeat the purpose of traveling away from the heat! There is a binder full of restaurants and activities. There is also a lake pass and an adventure pass so we got to enjoy a lovely walk around part of the snowy lake. There are detailed instructions and a check list so that you are not left wondering what you do and don’t need to do before checkout. I honestly cannot think of anything that could make our stay better! We’ll definitely back and stay for longer next time.”

“Went to Chantz home for a small getaway. While I wish we were able to access the lake (couldn’t because of Covid) it was still a relaxing few days away. The home was so quaint and beautiful with beautiful views of the tree. It was easy to find and close to the shops and restaurants of Lake Arrowhead. The stairs are narrow and their is only one bathroom on the bottom floor so be careful when walking at night but we had no issues. The beds were comfy and the rooms were very stylish. There is no central ac so the second floor did get pretty warm. They did supply fans and we left the bedroom windows open until bed the second night and that helped a lot. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I hope some day I can make it back there.”

“One the best Airbnbs we have stayed at. The pictures were spot on and the A frame was unique. We will come back with no hesitation. Positive: huge living room windows let in natural light and a great view of the woods, well stocked keurig coffee bar and a snack basket, high quality decor and items such as cups, kettle, sofa, night stand and sonos speaker, love the little things like swing and starter log for fireplace, Clorox wipes and sanitizing gel was available which is a great during covid Some things to note: only two bath towels so bring your own, walking distance to the village but no walkway so you will be on the side of a busy road, tight driveway but will fit two SUVs.”
