Long Lake Cottage is on a 10 mph lake that is a pretty peaceful spot to relax. Enjoy bonfires, kayaking, fishing, and grilling at our place. Long Lake is a part of the Pigeon River chain that you can kayak along through multiple lakes. Less than 10 minutes from Angola (Trine University, Pokagon State Park, groceries, etc.). We hope you enjoy your stay!
“Place was just what a family of 5 needed. Super clean, great personal touches, and a lot of serenity. The lake was a great paddling/fishing lake. We enjoyed early morning fishing from kayaks and evening sunsets over the lake. The lake was clam and not busy. The kids loved seeing all the wildlife (deer, turtles, herons, etc). We did day trips to the state parks for hikes and to the car museum. If you are looking for a quiet/low key get away, then this is the place. Only issue we had was with the mosquitoes (as to be expected being by the water). Thanks Tammy and family!”
Located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood, this 2 bedroom, one bath is perfect for a weekend getaway to Fort Wayne. The wood floors and white highlights give this home a comfortable, home away from home feeling. Enjoy a fresh treat prepared by a local business with each stay!

“Jason is a gracious and respectful host! If you like chess or books, you’ll definitely get along well. In my time there, I shared the living space with him as well as one other roommate who was staying there through Air BnB. My own room was great and it had everything I needed, including plenty of dresser and closet space for an extended stay. Sharing the one bathroom was never an issue and I was provided a place to store my toiletries. In the kitchen, there was enough fridge space for 3 people and contained all the necessary kitchen equipment for preparing meals; I would recommend bringing your own tupperware if you plan on meal prepping though. The commute from the house to Parkview Hospital was ~6 minutes in the mornings, and the commute to the nearest Walmart for groceries was ~12 minutes. I was able to park on the street in front of the house without any issues. Overall, it was a fairly priced stay for someone on a clinical rotation and one I would recommend to anyone in my situation.”
