If you like diving and really good food, this is the place to go ! Simon runs his diving club excellently and gives almost 1 on 1 guidance....very knowledgeable and experiential have learned a lot from him! Jeanette is a loving woman who cooks excellent > I ate a lot in my life but this is something special > the fresh fish and other dishes will stay in my memory a long time! They have a shop at home with the most necessary food and drinks. Simon has his own boat all the diving supplies. They have excellent Wi-Fi in-house > Starlink ! Do yourself a great pleasure and skip Coron and cross over to Culion you won't regret it at all🤗🤩🤙. Thank you Jeanette and Simon for a memorable stay in your house !

This was one of our absolute highlights of our Philippines trip. Arvin and Kenneth provided an excellent service. The contact with Alfred was very helpful and friendly. If you like privacy and a beautiful small island this is a MUST. Thank you so much for this amazing experience. We enjoyed every second being on this wonderful island!

Janette is a considerate, attentive, warm host. We were hosted very well. The ride deserves to stay at least two nights to enjoy the area and the large guest tables in the evening! Thanks again to Janette and Simon!

Kuya Sam and the team was so great. They are attentive with the request especially when we need to rent a motorcycle one of their staff helped us. The breakfast was so gooood. We love to waking up early just because of breakfast even we are not a morning persons tho. Hehehe. Iluv their Cornsilog 💓💓 The room we got is not the same picture that offer here but no worries the facilities are thumbs up. Thank you Kuya Sam. God bless!

I would highly recommend Nature’s Retreat! The name is quite accurate, and if you are looking to really immerse yourself in a beautiful nature setting away from it all, this is the place. Our crew was nine friends from around the world who gathered here over New Year’s, and to give a sense of the experience, on NYE, we all waded out into the warm shallow bay surrounded by the tropical jungle and mountains, had the hosts turn off the electricity to the Retreat and welcomed in 2020 with the only lights being the stars and bright Milky Way above. Stunning. As were the bonfire the hosts built, the trips they took us on around the islands with the property’s catamaran, the massages they organized (so cheap and very very good) and the other tours they helped us arrange. In terms of the hosts, we cannot say enough good things about Sam, his family and his crew. They are incredibly kind and affable human beings, completely professional and on top of all of the logistics and always available for any assistance or advice. And a real bonus is that Sam and his wife are incredible cooks - we learned they own a restaurant in PP, and it showed in all the meals which were very well done. There is no question the place is rustic, and it is secluded (no neighbors). And that is its amazing charm. But don’t expect to be able to just pop in and out of town in 5-10 minutes on a whim. Our only caution is, before booking, check Air Swift for available flights in and out of El Nido Lio airport. Otherwise you have to fly in to Puerto Princesa and it’s about a 5-6 hour drive to the Retreat from there, depending on traffic. Shouldn’t be a problem if you look well enough in advance (which we failed to do) – so just a lesson learned. All in all, this was a really special trip for our group, and we would really recommend you consider it for yourself.

To start this review, I must say that the Jolienne is by far the best host I have ever had in all my years of traveling! She went out of her way to ensure that we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Before our arrival she gave me all the information that I needed to plan our trip and enjoy our stay. While we were there her kindness continued. She can arrange dinner, transportation, tours, as well as give recommendations on anything you are curious about. Bella Vita Guest House is perfect in every way. We were a group of 15m to include our kids and grandkids. There are 7 bedrooms each with a private bath and aircon, so we all had privacy and were very comfortable. The place is super clean and the staff are outstanding. They cook breakfast every morning for us, and twice the prepared our dinner. The food was great and the price very reasonable. In summary, this is a perfect place for a family or large group, but is also fine for couples or small groups.

Great great spot. Super clean, A/C was great. And there was always someone at the front desk to help. The breakfast was amazing. Everything was within walking distance

My staff had a blast in Coron and this was all because of Prim. Aside from hosting, Prim arranged the tours as well. Rooms were comfy. Very hospitable owners & staff. The ambiance was good. There is a bar to hang out. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast included. Good wi-fi.

A nice place with a delicious breakfast. The staff were totally friendly and we felt very comfortable. It is just on the street so earplugs are definitely needed. However, it is fortunately only on a side street, about a 5-minute walk from the main road, where it is even much louder.
