Holly's place was wonderful! Check in was as easy as it gets. When we first walked in there was a very thoughtfully put together welcome basket, with all kinds of goodies and all the ingredients you need to make s'mores. Which the kids absolutely loved. The house is very clean and comfortable. With plenty of room for a family of 6. The kitchen had everything you need. The bathrooms are fully stocked. And the fire pit and backyard is just great! Very peaceful. Holly is a very thoughtful and responsive host. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. We would love to stay again if ever in town.

Better accommodations can not be found, nor could the host be more considerate and responsive. If I needed anything, they responded immediately and supplied a permanent solution. They were kind, considerate, attentive, yet unobtrusive. All my needs were met faster than I could express them, some even before I arrived. There are three sets of French doors looking out to the riverfront; sunrise is on the right, and sunset is just over your shoulder on the left, so the colors are spectacular both times. The neighborhood is delightfully quiet with many joggers, walkers, parents with strollers, dog walkers (there is a leash law), and bikers. Safety is excellent, no question. The three resident dogs are well-behaved and friendly to other dogs and people. I stayed two months with great pleasure.

We stayed with Brad for a continuous 6+ months! We enjoyed everyday there. The house was beautiful! Plenty of room for the 3 of us. Love the screen in porch on the back. The pier was also great. Loved spending the evenings out there. The mornings were always amazing, when the sun was coming up! Beautiful view! Everything was always clean and tidy. And Brad was always responsive. They put our job on hold until the summer time. I’m really hoping Brad’s house is available when we start back up. Because we will definitely be booking it again. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Hope to be staying there again, shortly! Thanks for everything!

Outdoorsman’s paradise is what this place is. Absolutely beautiful and the location is very private. Direct access to Tulls bay and the northwest river. We loved every second and plan to book this again.

Sheila’s place was awesome for our crew of 4 to stay. There was plenty of room and comfortable for all. The views and river out back make this location beautiful and peaceful.

This was our 2nd time staying in the upstairs big studio unit. WE love this place as we are a USCG family and our family/grandkids are there in E-City. Great view, right on the bay, the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. Alice is the best, she answers quickly and is flexible about arrival times which helps when driving from Raliegh to E-City. It is a joy to stay there. We fish so love what she has done with her big boathouse on the property where you can relax out of the weather or sun and fish, socialize, watch the bay, etc. You have everything you need in there for a wonderful stay. All amenities! Sunrises and sunsets are amazing!!!!! thanks again Alice for a great visit.

This cottage is easily the best place to stay in the entire area—even including the neighboring counties. It’s right on the water and comes fully stocked with everything you could possibly need: kayaks, tons of dishes, towels, and all the essentials. The space is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. Between the waterfront views from inside the cottage, available kayaks, and bonfire setup, it truly has everything for a perfect getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Comfortable house with fantastic water view. We enjoyed watching the eagles and osprey and seeing the stars at night.

This home has the most amazing view! Watching the sunrise over the sound every morning was breathtaking. It is about a half hour from the entrance to the Outer Banks, but we were more than happy to trade the drive for the absolute peace and tranquility of this home's serene location. The kitchen is well appointed so we enjoyed starting and ending each day with our own homemade breakfast and dinner.

Beautiful historic home on water. Well appointed and well stocked. Peaceful and very relaxing. Whisper clean and wonderful outside porches. We did not have the time to take advantage of the kayaks/fishing etc - but would have if we had the time and so nice to have the option! Parking next to the house was too tight for us, but we found parking across the street on the side street to be very convenient, permissible and safe. Linda was so responsive to all our inquiries. We loved our stay.

From beginning to end this cottage is off the charts. Cute, unique, functiinal, confortable, well organized, thoroughly supplied and the location is private and beautiful.

Came in town to fish a bass tournament for a week. Safe area and had room for a truck and boat to park. All and all everything went well as planned.
