Our old home in the shadow of Cannon and Kinsman Mountains is, as one guest said, “as comfortable as your old slippers.” We await your arrival. Come in the winter for skiing, snowshoeing or hiking. Summer finds guests exploring the area by foot, bicycle, or car and sitting on the front porch as the sun sets. And of course in the fall, Mother Nature paints our trees glorious shades from her palette for all to see whether from the mountain tops as you hike or the valleys as you drive.
“This place is a gem. Nestled alongside the White Mountains, it is central to everything I enjoy when outdoors: bird watching, hiking, skiing. I woke up to the call of a black-billed cuckoo, had a terrific breakfast, then was on the Mt. Kinsman Trail after a 3 minute drive down the road. After my hike, I was blessed to see a mama bear and cub just a few miles from the lodge. Susan was very hospitable, gave me the scoop on the history of the lodge, made a home cooked breakfast that was delicious. My room and bathroom were clean and bright. All the amenities present. The rear screened-in porch great for a beer at dusk. Definitely will be back. Great place for groups!”

“This must be the coziest spot in the white mountains! I felt like I was at a dear relative’s house and felt safe and well-cared for our whole stay. I loved sitting on the big front porch and enjoying the sun and the clear stars at night!”

“Location, Location, Location! You come to this house for the aspect of nature and you will find an abundance of it. Hiking trails, Biking trails, Lakes, all at the tip of your fingers with this property. The property itself, amazing. A true feeling of being in the woods with a touch of appeal. Comfortable beds in all the rooms! Great master bathroom. The kitchen is very workable and good amount of room to slice and dice. The attention to detail is very important. Traveling with kids ( ages 5 and 2) is not always easy but they absolutely loved this house. The little tokens left for kids such as crayons, books, hot wheels cars, etc they loved it. They also loved the spiral stairs LOL. The house manual has ample resources for local activities suggested by Jason and Claudia. Thanks for the bottle of wine! We will definitely return! Thanks Jason and Claudia!!”
