Ons Manoir du Boscau is gelegen in de Dordogne vallei, tegenover het majestueuze kasteel Castelnau-Bretenoux in het noorden van het departement de Lot. Het Manoir is gebouwd rond 1450 door de Benedictijner monnik Gilles del Bosce, deken van de priorij van het in de buurt gelegen Carennac.
