“Wonderful homely house in a very special location at the end of a quiet cul de sac. Serene and tranquil surrounded by beautiful trees! We had a wonderful time at your lovely home. My son loved the ping pong table too. Thank you so much for accommodating our very late arrival due to travel issues. And thank you for the lovely bottle of bubbles we arrived to. We shall most definitely be back.”

“Simone (and Cayti) were outstanding hosts, and their place is wonderful. We stayed in the converted apartment which is like a mini-home, cleverly designed to fit everything in across 3 levels, maximising space and comfort. Unique touches like the mezzanine level which reading chair, snug for watching movies, large open double doors onto the balcony and remote controlled skylight (both flooding with natural light) made this a beautiful place to say. We received our daily breakfast at the door, fresh from the bakery, and opted for the evening meal - absolutely delicious, we were stuffed and couldn't finish all the wine!! Simone and Cayti were very amenable to our changing plans and made sure everything was simply, easy and doable. Thanks to them for the use of bikes to explore the local vineyards and for being on hand throughout. We made good use of the pool and couldn't recommend Simone's place enough. We'll be back!”

“To me, it was almost perfect. Some things worth noting in no particular order: We had a lovely stay and both the host and the place hardly could've been better. It's a breathtaking place to wake up in or stargaze at night. Surrounded by nature, isolated enough from both the other cabin in the property and the main house so that you get as much privacy as you'd want for a "private calm weekend getaway" or so. The balcony is more than isolated enough that we felt perfectly confortable sunbathing FKK style with no issue. The compost toilet and the basically open toilet are a bit of an acquired taste and the water pressure in the shower is nothing to rave about, but nothing that would make me not want to come again. The bed is particularly comfortable and cozy, that was perfect, and the big mosquito net that is safely hooked to the ceiling gives a very nice "closed but open" feeling to being in bed. The road to get to the cabin is a bit of a tough one, and you have to tread very carefully to not scrape the bottom of a normal non-4x4 car. Be slow and take your time. You'll thank me later. Lighting is incandescent and not too bright to be annoying at night. The seating setup outside is quite comfortable, particularly great at around 10-11pm when the sun starts hitting the deck (the sun comes in first from the other side, where there are some other windows that don't hit the bed, I assume for sake of being there in summer) and there's also a part covered by a thin to shade about half of the balcony that does its job well. All around great experience if you like the "off the grid" feeling while still having somewhat of a 'normal house' amenities setup.”
