Hostel vacation rentals in Caribbean Sea

Hostal Heredia is a fantastic place to stay in Santigao de Cuba. Our room was well-maintained, with a working air con, delicious breakfast every morning, comfortable bed and a good shower. These can all be rarities in Cuba at the moment. The staff were great - friendly and considerate, and the meal we had on the terrace one evening was very good. The Hostal is a about a ten minute walk from the main square so very well located. At this moment, the most important thing about any place to stay in Santiago, is a generator, and fortunately Hostal Heredia has one, which meant that we had power for the majority of our stay. There was a mix-up at check-in, so it is worth checking in advance to make sure your room is avaiable, but that shouldn't deter from what is a brilliant Hostal at a resonable price. Communication with Raul was also fast and easy. Overall a super experience, and the best place I've staying in Santiago. We'll definitely be returning next time we're there.

Great stay in Santa Clara, Dinorah is the loveliest person! She makes the best breakfast in Santa Clara, must try the toastadas! Sad to say goodbye to her, she really is a sweetheart! If you ever find yourself in Santa Clara, stay at Hostal Casa Blanca with Dinorah- you will not regret it! She even helped us arrange a taxi to Trinidad.

Very friendly, helpful host, speaks very good English. A large apartment with its own kitchen. Nice neighborhood, quiet, peaceful. Among the disadvantages: there was no wifi, I don't know if always or because of electricity problems throughout Cuba. (But the wifi was not promised in the description, no complaints). An important nuance for travelers - there are no European outlets in the apartment. You can ask the host for an adapter, but you need to keep that in mind.

Casa Coral was the perfect escape for my husband and me. We spent one night here and had wonderful recommendations for food and beaches. We met friendly travelers and wished we had time to stay here longer.

The best place to stay in Cuba. The room is very welcoming and clean. Inside the hotel is finished and stylish. I felt really good and after all the hostels and private houses I spent, for me being here was like a cuddle, there. There was a value for money and a very good location. The house was just a few minutes from the beach by foot and we felt right at home! The host spoke good English and had many recommendations for activities in this region, including bike rental, taxi tours or diving options as well as some suggestions for restaurants. The breakfast offered for a small additional charge is worth the price and we enjoyed fresh fruits, bread, eggs and fresh juices in the front yard before leaving for Havana. Would definitely come back!

This place was amazing. It’s very close to the beach, and you can walk to any restaurant or shop in the main Santa Teresa street. I totally recommend it!

everything is very nice and according to the price

Quiet place, easy to get to, the perfect real estate, an excellent one to the sea, and of course the back to the beach, for a sunset hike. Perfect place to spend with friends and family I recommend it..

The pool and breakfast are a huge bonus for this place. I was in the semi-private room, you can still hear people on the other side, but it was so much better than being in a dorm as I could get changed and leave my stuff out without any concern. They also provided me with a lock for my door because I didn’t have one. Definitely worth it for the price. I also walked around at night after meeting people at a bar and felt very safe in this neighborhood.

My mother lives in the PR, but had a late flight from Aguadilla and didn’t have anyone to take her at the time, So I decided to book here at Medusa’s and Tammy checked my mom in and took her at midnight to the airport. She kept in touch with me the whole time, before and after. Tammy was AMAZING!!! I Don’t have enough space to write all the great things I want to say , but here are the most important: She is committed to help her guests and goes out of her way to make things happen. Had a positive attitude from the start ( when I was just inquiring and didn’t have a reservation yet). My mom felt safe and at home. And things went as smooth as we had discussed over the phone. Overall, we are extremely happy with the stay and services. We will definitely recommend Medusa’s to our family and friends, in and outside of Puerto Rico. And we wish Tammy the best of luck in the future. Thanks for everything!!!!

the property is in a great location to visit the city of Trinidad, right near the central square and the music house. Maricela is very cheerful and was very available to help us organize our trips and activities. The rooms are on the second floor and in front there is a small terrace, very fresh and pleasant, especially for breakfast.

Don’t miss this place, it’s a little paradise. Ernesto, the owner, mingled with the guests, was very outgoing and helped anybody that needed anything. The food was great!!! They made us a super breakfast, included in the price of the room and he served us a very nice chicken multi vegetable soup/meal for diner that was to die for. We went and relaxed in the cool water at the river right on his property. All kinds of animals all over the place. Excellent secure and plenty of safe parking on the premises. I definitely recommend this place and will return whenever I can. Thanks Ernesto, keep up the good work! Pura Vida!

Home from home in the center of the city

I highly recommend staying here. The place is clean and easily accessible.

Great location just 7 mins walk from the ferry station. Provides transportation services which help me a lot. People are really friendly. Good value

Highly recommend. Amazing hostel and loved the beds. Very private and large. Appreciate the big storage boxes. I really enjoyed my stay there for 3 weeks and met really great people. It’s not a party hostel which I also liked as it was quiet at night and easy to sleep. The only thing which can’t really be helped due to location is the noise of the street as there are a lot of loud bikes and vehicles in Santa Teresa. Staff were helpful and nice and they shared events happening as well. Very clean and great set up for cooking as well. Thanks for an amazing stay!

I had a very enjoyable stay. The two most valuable points are: the location (meters from the best beach area if you are in an all-inclusive and meters from the bar and business area. And the other highly valued aspect is the warmth, order and cleanliness of the hosts, who are always waiting for all the spaces to be sparkling. The mattress I got was very comfortable, but there were others that weren't so much. If you plan to do a lot of outdoor activities, the place is perfect. Going out to see the sunrise on the beach, which is just a 4-minute walk away, is a great virtue.😍 I felt very comfortable and I really appreciate the hosts for the stay.

It was a very good deal for a private room and very walkable. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here.

Great place to stay right on the beach. 20 minutes walk to mag rock with the most incredible sunsets. We would stay again!
