Such a great spot to stay! Beds were comfortable, shower was great, and open air home was such a dream! Got to see monkeys from our porch, ground crabs along the walkway, and could hear the ocean as a constant background. Such a dream!

AMAZING! One of our favorite places we have ever had the pleasure to stay at in Costa Rica and I have been coming to this beautiful country for a decade. The springs are fantastic and well maintained. the property is beautiful and has a great hiking trail loop. I got to see blue Jean strawberry dart frogs too! The treehouse is gorgeous, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen was great and the bed was comfortable. We loved it so much that we spent most of the day on the grounds after we checked out. the cherry on top was being greeted and having a chat with the wonderful owners. Kathy and Bernie and incredible people and I absolutely recommend this gem of a place!

Awesome. That's just the start. it rained for most of the time we were there and it made the space even more beautiful. We rested and really took in the beauty of nature. Stefan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, very responsive and giving excellent suggestions. The cottage was beautiful, a perfect balance of rustic and modern. If you are a nature lover, a lone traveler or a couple looking for some down time to rejuvenate and recharge, Tumbleweed is definitely the place for you. Very good value for money, the only thing I have to say that the wifi was wrong, everything else was excellent. I highly recommend it!

We absolutely loved our relaxing stay at this slice of Costa Rican paradise. The jungle sounds, manicured gardens, jungle trails and the view of the ocean below were spectacular. Probably our favourite part was the daily visits by a family of howler monkeys. We already plan to return.

Nice setting, safe, and peaceful.

Our stay was great, away from the resorts and the crowds. We explored the north of the island, which is quite different front the area around St George. Kim and Liette work very hard on their farm to produce wonderful chocolate artisanally. They showed us how they produce it and gifted us some to taste. The house was cosy and simple. The beds are quite comfortable, the living area is outdoor, with a view on the ocean and the jungle. Perfect to slow down and leave work behind.

My goal was to sit on an island and become one with the sloths. I achieved that goal with my stay here. The entire staff is wonderful – Leo and Esther and especially Andrea. Juan and Sara helped organize my stay and I cannot thank them enough!

We enjoyed our stay. The house has a beautiful kitchen and great outdoors. We really had lot’s of fun in the pool.

Francis was an incredible host who made us feel right at home. The Airbnb was exactly as pictured — beautiful, private, and fully stocked with everything we needed for a perfect stay. He even provided beach chairs, a cooler, and a welcome treat of fresh coconut water and coffee for our stay. We loved the daily visits from his adorable dog, Coco, who added such a sweet, personal touch. The whole place had such peaceful, laid-back vibes — the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The location was also great, just a short 5-minute drive to plenty of local bars, cafes, and restaurants along the main road. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a calm, relaxing getaway in PR, away from the crowds

Absolutely stunning house, pool, and views! The welcome message/instructions gave you all the information needed for an easy checkin. This place is very private and so peaceful. You feel like you are in a jungle with a waterfall right by you. The house itself is very spacious and there is more than enough outside space (pool, turf patio). The outdoor shower right by the pool was so nice to have. The view and the pool/waterfall combo is unreal especially lit up at night. I was skeptical about booking as a solo traveler but the location and gated entry was enough to convince me to book and I’m so glad I did. Unreal experience! Totally worth it!

This was probably one of the best places I’ve stayed. It was clean, spacious and had everything you would need for the stay. The bathroom was one of my favorite parts of my stay; different but so refreshing. I really liked the area/neighborhood. It was quiet and airy. The dogs and cats are so friendly and gentle, another of my favorites from this stay. Overall it was an amazing experience, I would definitely go back.

Valle Fresco, Eco-Lodge is a very quiet place that connects you with nature, you can breathe fresh air and has some corners so well thought to connect with yourself. The staff is very helpful and the best part is that I was able to bring my pets…who also enjoyed the place.

The place is definitely a little bit of heaven. Frankie was super helpful and assisted us with the generator of the place during the blackout🫶🏼🪻

Was right by playa buyé and not far from other local beaches. Very easy to find and clear instructions. We ate at beef bros in Boqueron highly recommend! Thank you for hosting us!
