House vacation rentals in Carlsbad Village

Vanessa's place is in a very very quiet neighborhood just steps from the bay. I am a SD native, I know the city very well. I actually lived in the area for many years. This place is totally worth it if your traveling with a family with kids. Plenty to do, plenty of space to sit and relax inside and outside. It has plenty of things to keep kids busy from books to toys very very nice touch. If available when we return definitely will be staying here. The short walk to watch the sunset in the ocean is worth every penny..

My family and I came down for our daughter's spring break. We wanted a quiet comfortable home for the kids and centrally located to take our day trips to Legoland, the Midway, and SeaWorld. This spot was perfect for all of this. Host was responsive, property was beautiful, and was also close to shopping centers. We will definitely see if this space is available during our next San Diego trip.

We had such a great Spring Break stay at Tamarack Palms with our two young kids and our pup. The yard and heated pool were the stars—our kids were thrilled to have so much space to play, and even though the weather was cool, the heated pool made it easy to enjoy time outside every day. The location was ideal—peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood and just minutes from the beach, Carlsbad Village, and essentials like Von’s. It made daily outings and grocery runs super convenient. Inside, the home was clean, stylish, and well laid out. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our family, and having a washer and dryer made the whole trip easier. The main living space is cozy but functional, and we felt right at home. Our host was fantastic—responsive, friendly, and accommodating. It’s clear a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. No negatives at all—just a peaceful, well-located family stay. We’d absolutely stay again.

House was clean and comfortable. Check in and check out went smoothly. Communication was great with the owner. Perfectly accommodated our family and location was great. We loved that Better Buzz was within walking distance for a coffee! Grocery store and restaurants also close by. Would highly recommend this rental!

We booked Suan and Jessica's place for Easter weekend. We had planned a trip to the Flower Gardens and Legoland in Carlsbad, both of which were less than 20 minutes away from where we were staying. Not only was the place conveniently located, it offered us a spot to enjoy our family's company and dedicate our time to our grandaughter. We barbecued, watched movies, swam in swimming pool, did our own arts and crafts, etc. We had an overall amazing time at a reasonable price without the chaos and limitations of booking a hotel room. We would definitely book this place in the future if we are in the area.

Stay was great, the kids loves the pool. They had lots of stuff we could use to tale to the beach which was great. Lots of supplies, I have rented places that were super stingy with everything, but this place had more of everything, including things we werent expecting, but needed.

Overall we had a great time with our stay. Lots of entertainment/activities at the house. Plenty of outdoor seating. Loved the pool and fire pit. The only hiccup was the cleaners didn’t make it out to the property prior to us arriving at the house. I contacted the hosts and they responded very quickly and made the situation right. So I was very satisfied with that. Our families loved the place, thank you for the experience.

This home was beautiful! Plenty of space for the seven of us for our girls' trip. Helen was an excellent host. She was very responsive to any questions we had. The property was well-stocked with towels and linen, and had a washer and dryer in case you needed to do laundry. The backyard is beautiful. Extremely flexible check-in/check-out options. I would definitely stay again.

We had such a fabulous stay here! Me and my 3 yr old shared the bunk room and my dad was in the other room and we were all very comfortable. The patio/view were fantastic when the weather was nice. Kitchen very well stocked if you plan on cooking. The small touches made a difference for us including being totally stocked for kids to stay - plasticware, huge basket of toys to play with, books, etc. While we didn’t spend a ton of time at the beach there were also chair/towels/toys. Also, very convenient access to a grocery store. I’d 100% recommend anyone to stay here, with or without kids.

The host was incredibly responsive and quickly took care of any issues that arose, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The backyard was a highlight—serene, peaceful, and beautifully landscaped. The value for the price was definitely worth it, and we'd highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Don is a super responsive host. The location could not be any better, especially for the price point. The place is very basic however based on the location, I can understand why as there is a lot to do outdoors as you are a few steps away from the beach and everything else, shops, restaurants, amusement park and so much more. You are minutes away from the San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Old Town and the Gas Lamp District. This location is not only good for folks with children but also great for young adults as there is plenty of night life a short walk away. We are from Los Angeles, however we felt as though we were vacationing in another states hot spot. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. I highly recommend it! Richard was a great host, I had my family visiting from Italy stay at his place. There are two comfortable bedrooms, a really cute kitchen and a living room. One bathroom. The place is a but old, but there was everything they needed and it is well maintained. Also well cleaned. My favorite part was how communicative and responsive Richard was.

Our multigenerational family of six enjoyed our stay at Dan’s Oceanside home, and we will definitely stay here again. If you value privacy, safety, and comfort, you will love Dan’s place for you and your family. We are a no pet, no smoking, no alcohol drinking, no shoes indoors, environmentally conscious family and Dan’s clean, comfortable, safe, and relaxing home was the perfect find. If you enjoy cooking like we do, the kitchen is well equipped with excellent quality cookware and appliances. The house does not have central AC but there are ceiling fans, which we used, and portable fans (which we didn’t need to use) as the house gets a nice breeze throughout. If you are sensitive to sound, you can definitely hear some minimal noise from nearby highway and trains, but nothing we couldn’t tolerate. Hot tub operation is remotely controlled and requires contact with Dan to be heated. House manual with information/rules to make sure everyone has a pleasant stay, is respectful of property

We stayed at Pete's place because it has a gorgeous pool (the pool slide was a huge hit), is close to Del Mar racetrack, and is close to the beach/ocean (you can see the ocean from the front yard). We took our two Bichons and felt safe and secure letting them out. We have family in San Diego and had a small family cook out on Sunday. The grill was awesome, and there are lots of fun things to do on the property, front and back yards. We didn't take advantage of the jacuzzi, but it was already heated up. Since the house doesn't have air conditioning, there were fans in the family room and bedroom. Large kitchen, so you can cook and bake if you don't want to eat out all the time. The house is single story, but outside there are lots of levels where you have to go up and down some single steps,so small children would need help and elderly or disabled folks may need help, too. Pete gave great directions about how to access the main entrance, and the self check-in security code.

Our group travels annually for cycling trips and Tim's place worked fantastic for us. The outdoor areas were a hit for our group. The kitchen is well appointed and the bedrooms are separated from the common areas so they are quiet. Tim met us at check in and outlined the home audio system and kitchen. We would definitely enjoy staying at Tim's for future trips.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location for access to the beach and local restaurants and centrally located within a short drive to the heart of San Diego. Access to bikes a nice plus for rides along the beach. Unit was clean and comfortable, no complaints.

We rented this for my sister’s bachelorette and it was PERFECT! It was decorated very beautifully and was clean!

Laura was an extremely responsive host reaching out before and during our stay. The home was extremely clean upon arrival, the beds were comfortable and the home matched the listing pictures. We appreciated the secure off-street parking. We didn't see anyone else during our stay though there is a shared courtyard. It was extremely quiet & the patio was lovely. The stairs to the apartment were well-lit so had no issues being on the second floor. The guest book left clear instructions for everything and offered recommendations in the area. The home was very convenient to the Pacific Beach boardwalk as well as the main thoroughfare. We could easily walk to the water and to eat and shop! It was an easy drive to La Jolla and downtown San Diego for other adventures.

El alojamiento y el servicio de Victoria fueron increíbles, estuvo atenta a mis solicitudes desde un principio. El lugar muy ordenado, súper tranquilo, todo estaba en orden y muy limpio. Que permitieran alojar a nuestras mascotas fue un plus porque a ellas les gustó mucho el lugar. Un plus fue que nos permitiera salir un poco más tarde para que las mascotas no sufrieran con el calor. Definitivamente regresaríamos en la siguiente ocasión!
