“My husband and I came to Treasure Cottage with our dog during the Covid-19 quarantine for one week, so we spent a lot of time in the house and on the property. This was such a quiet, relaxing stay. We loved waking up to the sound of birds chirping and spending the evenings underneath the stars on the patio. Our favorite part of the cottage was the patio set and fire pit. We lit a fire every night except when it rained! WiFi works great there which was important because we still needed to work. Carole is so nice and so responsive, and we loved her horses! Lots of hiking trails on the property and we enjoyed just driving through the country roads and the views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Besides Carole, we saw no one during our stay there! The king size bed was very comfy, and we made use of the kitchen as we cooked all day every day during quarantine. We had everything we needed in her cottage. We would LOVE to come back and recommend highly to anyone.”

“We had a fantastic getaway at this cabin and hosts were great! We were worried to be arriving during COVID-19 but we really needed to get away and Rhonda put our mind at ease with the thorough cleaning she does between guests. Everything was very clean and the cabin overall is a perfect retreat if you like nature and want to get away from crowds. We enjoyed the sound of the water and the seclusion, while only being 10 minutes away from town in one direction and great hikes in the other. Most attractions were still closed because of COVID, so we spent most of our time hiking and relaxing with a beverage and a book on the back porch. Rhonda offered to make us dinner one night for a very reasonable price and we were glad to have taken her up on it - it was delicious and a welcome indulgence after an afternoon of hiking! Rhonda really went out of her way to make us feel welcome and we would definitely go back and stay again.”

“The cottage is absolutely beautiful and there are so many amenities that were actually very helpful during our stay. Their dog, Rudy, visited us multiple times and he was just the sweetest pup. Tom and Carol are both also super nice and easy to chat with. They also gave us our space which is nice when the cottage is so close to their home. This cottage definitely gave us the perfect weekend getaway. We loved the area and didn’t want to leave!”
