The sea room in Bakkehuset in Thy - yoga, garden, calm

Bakkehuset is a small farmhouse from the 1930s that has been converted into a cozy yoga, garden and creative house. We usually use the house for retreats, classes and yoga lessons. When we don't have retreats, we open the house to others looking for an informal place for contemplation and relaxation. The house has a self-sufficient garden and a permaculture garden that supplies us with fresh vegetables. When you stay in Bakkehuset, you are welcome to join us in the garden. You are also welcome to participate in our yoga classes by appointment :).

Lovely country house overlooking Sejrøbugten

Relax in this charming cottage in Veddinge Bakker – a gently converted barn from 1877 with room for six guests. The house has two large terraces with garden furniture and sun loungers. There is a fireplace, barbecue, trampoline in the garden, fast WiFi and desk, as well as a cozy living room with a large screen and Chromecast. The old agricultural property is located in a hilly, scenic area close to the beach, hiking and cycling routes. Open all year. Short distance to Asnæs, Holbæk and only an hour from Copenhagen.

Meldbjerggaard bed and kitchen

Newly renovated stable 170 sqm, shared kitchen and living room fully equipped, exit to the terrace with beautiful lake and land views. Five double rooms, each with private bathroom. You can make your own food. The farm is located on the north side of Vejle Fjord on the east coast cycle route, perfect for overnight stays if you want to spend the night in peace and quiet during your holiday in the East Jutland / Vejle/Juelsminde/Horsens. Iff the calendar seems to bee booked, just ask us for rooms.

Rural idyll

Holiday apartment on the 1st floor of our disused country house. It is about 30m2. There is a double bed (160x200), armchairs, coffee table and TV. Dining area for 4 and a small kitchen with fridge, freezer, stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, etc. As well as a bathroom with shower. The apartment is locked for the rest of the home, and has its own rooftop terrace from which there is also a private entrance. Free wifi. We have 2 horses, chickens and a cute outdoor cat.

Starting November 1st, 2026, we offer an exclusive optional spa package with access to our brand-new electric sauna, soft bathrobes, and luxurious wellness products. Contact us for more details!Enjoy fresh air and complete tranquility among the fragrant pine trees, which provide excellent shelter on the large property. The holiday home is 80 m² (built in 1973) and is located just 300 meters from the Limfjord and 14 km from National Park Thy and the North Sea.

Design loft with private lake | 5 min from the sea

The Hayloft is the ideal retreat for two people. The gable is completely glazed and offers a magnificent view of the private lake and the national park behind it. In the middle of the room is the "Magic Box." It houses the kitchen, a dining area and the dressing room. At the top of the box is the gallery bed, which has a view far into the national park through the glass parapet. In the garden there is a deck and a work studio. 200 m to the sea.

Unique summer house with a view

Unique cottage! Completely renovated barn building, with visible beams, high ceilings and views of fields. Spacious, beautiful and cozy. 15 min walk to beach and fjord. Besser is a cozy, small town with a sandwich café and a good atmosphere. We are three sisters who have built and renovated the barn building since 2013. We love the place and are often here with friends and family. The house dates from 1777.
