Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Centre County

The perfect place to stay while visiting my son, who works at Penn State! We had my youngest with us for spring break from VA Tech, and Connie’s place provided plenty of space to relax together, along with charming spots for some quiet time when needed. The location—just minutes from everything—was nearly perfect. Connie was kind enough to check in and ensure everything met our expectations, truly a gracious host. We’re already looking forward to our next visit to Connie’s place in State College!

We rented Mark's place as we were visiting our daughter who lives about 20 minutes away. We were able to host them for a night and had a wonderful dinner. Kitchen was fully equipped. Bed and bath linens were very nice. Wood burning stove very easy to figure out and warmed the place up quickly. A great rental!

We really enjoyed our stay at the property - clean, spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent - residential and peaceful and yet so convenient. Melissa was friendly and speedy in her communication throughout. Thank you!

This is by far one of the best AirBnB’s. I have ever stayed at. Super close to campus and were provided a couple of bottles of wine and sticky buns plus the house was stacked with eggs, bacon, milk and all kinds of food supplies. It was a great place for our families and the kids really enjoyed being able to play video games and pool. We would absolutely stay here again!

Antoinette's place was fully stocked and equipped with everything we needed. Comfortable beds, plenty of room and quiet neighborhood. There were a few board/card games and we ended up getting hooked on Skip Bo! Snacks and candy were a nice touch! Great place, great stay.

Very comfortable home 15 minutes from Penn State. Comfortable bedrooms. Large shared spaces. Very clean.

Our family stayed at Ryan's place for a weekend visit to State College! The house was clean/cozy, in a quiet/safe neighborhood, and made for an easy drive to campus and downtown. Ryan provided great instructions for the stay and the house was exactly as expected based on the listing. We would definitely stay here again for another Penn State visit!

What an incredible place to stay! This is a big old house with lots of wonderful surprises--a kids' nook with great toys, books for kids and adults, a s'mores kit in the larder, interesting art, great outdoor space...everything you could possibly want. There's even a cabinet with a sign that says it has antique serving dishes from the 1800s, and guests should "feel free to use any of these items." I have never felt so strongly, staying in an Airbnb, that the hosts were clearly deeply kind and lovely people. The house obviously means a lot to them, and we felt right at home there.

This space was perfect for a group of 6 friends going to a Penn State game. It was about 15-20 minutes from Beaver Stadium so an excellent location for sure. I really liked the rustic feel of the place. It was a cold weekend and the house was very inviting and warm. Had all the amenities we needed and plenty of extra towels and blankets. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great location, close to stadium and downtown. We arrive late which made it a bit tricky finding the house, but Dasha was very responsive and helped us locate it quickly. Easy, flexible keypad check-in with private entrance. Great space with lots of room and full kitchen. Would definitely stay again!

We were in town to watch our daughter play basketball and the rental was perfect. It was close to the university and near restaurants. The area was quiet and safe. The rental was just as described. Nice clean and comfy. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for the Penn State playoff game and it was perfect. The location is near the stadium and its easy to get there and back from downtown after a night out. Its a beautiful and comfortable place with a fantastic fireplace and TV. The kitchenette is a nice touch. It is perfect for couple or a few friends on a PSU weekend. Ryan was also extremely helpful, communicative, and helpful. Highly recommend this spot!
