This place exceeded my expectations. It's actually a little eco-lodge, so there's plenty of property to walk around. I saw monkeys and a turtle. Nice lake area. Good little restaurant on the property as well. Short walk from the center of town. The cabin is simple. The pool actually didn't have water while I was there. Sergio responds very quickly and is very helpful. For the price, I would definitely recommend this place

My family and I had a great stay

We had a beautiful stay in this peaceful, remote hideaway — a perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature. Just a heads-up for future guests: there’s a short unpaved walk to reach the accommodation, so it may not suit anyone with mobility issues. We didn’t fully read the listing beforehand (our fault) and were surprised there was no hot water, but it wasn’t an issue — the water warms up in the sun during the day, so a daytime shower was perfectly comfortable. As it’s deep in nature, we did have insects come into the room at night when the lights were on, likely through small gaps in the door. We found that blocking the gap under the door helped stop this from happening. The kitchen is well-equipped and includes a ceramic water filter, which was really handy. Jose is a fantastic host — super communicative and helped us organise transport and tours. Overall, it was a really special stay. We’d recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, nature-filled experience.

The property is located on the grounds of the Eco Hotel. We were able to make good use of the beautiful jetties and seating on the lake as well as the entire grounds. Delicious coffee is served in the restaurant and we ate well. You can swim in the lake. It was very quiet. The hotel is not centrally located but it leads a nice path along the lake to the village. Sergio is very friendly and takes care of if needed.
