We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful typical, comfortable, large house with plenty of outdoor spaces and very well designed for several families. The view is incredible from everywhere, very nice pool in a beautiful and quiet environment while being only 10 minutes from the pretty Kivi station with beaches and restaurants, supermarket. Essential car Dimitri on site is full of good advice and very responsive if needed. Hoping to get back to Syros and Dani soon.

Simply breathtaking. Meraki is a Greek word that describes what happens when you leave a piece of yourself – your soul, creativity or love – in the work you do. The Collector’s Home is truly the epitome of this, filled with curiosities and treasures, hand-picked by host Dimitris whose passion for island life is infectious and who really does put his heart and soul into what he does. Dimitris was an exceptional host, and by the end of our trip we felt more like old friends. Finikas itself is a very charming little town, beautifully appointed on a sheltered beach looking west. There are several shops, bars and restaurants within a few minutes’ walk; we ate at Calmo Mare several times, drank cocktails at Remezzo, found all the basics at the mini-market and fresh bread and gelato at the bakery a little further along. The spotless, sandy beach is 50m from the apartment and has plenty of shady spots if you don’t want to be in the sun all day. Take a snorkel: the waters are teeming with colourful little fish, shimmering just under the surface. The whole island is served by buses, departing 100m from the apartment every hour or so in each direction; taxis are also widely available. If you want to see more of the island, it would be sensible to hire a car. But once you’ve seen the view from the balcony, you probably won’t bother!

One of the best villas I have rented, right on the beach with an amazing balcony to enjoy with friends and family! The villa is large exactly as the pictures , hosts are easy to communicate with and gave us recommendations on where to eat and the attractions of the island! It’s the perfect spot for relaxing holidays and the beach is beautiful ! Kiki and this place are a MUST if you are thinking of spending time in Syros. Kiki was super attentive towards us and very flexible with our plans. She was very welcoming explained everything to us about the house and was attentive at check-out. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay and enjoyable weekend with our friends (including sustainable electricity and yes… AC). Kiki was so attentive she eventually reached out about a piece of clothes we left behind. We are planning to come back to Kiki’s place. Do not hesistate in reserving Villa Marie and enjoy your stay!

The place is beautiful! The photos don't honor the reality of the view and the interior layout. Dimitris was very welcoming and always good advice, and Litha was very responsive in terms of communication. We recommend without hesitation!

We have stayed at Takis's house twice now and can only recommend it highly. It is a very comfortable, clean and well kept house with lots of space inside and out.The location is fantastic with breathtaking views - our favourite spot on the island! Takis is very friendly and helpful, went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. Hopefully we will be back. Thank you again Takis

Anna's place is serene, pleasant and beautifully situated in Chroussa. We had a lovely stay overall and Anna was quick in providing us with solutions when something was missing or needed, especially as we were challenged by a family health issue that complicated things for us in unforeseen ways. Anna is warm and friendly and her pets are entirely adorable. We recommend her place as it is a great location from where to explore the island.

My family and I had a truly wonderful stay at Arthur’s house. The outdoor patios are perfect for any time of the day—whether it’s breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just drinks. We always found the ideal spot to relax, enjoy the view, and soak in the atmosphere. The house is spacious and has a quaint, pleasant charm that exceeded our expectations. The pictures (as of August 2024) don’t quite capture just how special this place is. We also loved the warm hospitality of the kind person who came every morning to care for the house and prepared a delicious Greek coffee. It was a great experience, and we would be very happy to return to Syros and stay at Arthur’s house again.
